Team name: Currently in development stage.

Project name: Currently in development stage.

Brief description: Goal is to form team to develop marketable point-and-click adventure games. Team philosophy would be operation by consensus, no one, including myself would be irreplaceable. The first team task will be making the game concept document to define the buyer, match and develop the story and distribution channels to the buyer. The second team task would be to set up project timelines and then then start game development concurent with the game design document. A primary marketing goal would be to have a finished review copy of the game within the shortest amount of time possible.

Target aim: Online retail.

Compensation: Percentage. Distribution will be discussed later, potential team members should be from United States or other country that requires/uses verifiable documentation for income tax purposes.

Technology: Win 98 and upward. Leaning towards AdventureMaker as an authoring platform to develop the game; VBA to program add-ons; Bryce to render, DazStudio and Maya to illustrate, Terragen for landscape/world creation, and Artifice DesignWorkshop for architecture illustration; Dramatica and StoryBase for story development.

Talent needed: writer, level designer/mapper, graphics artist (3D modeling, texture), VBA programmer, and music composer/sound effect artist. Each person preferably should have at least one overlapping skill/talent. My skills for development cover writing, level designer/mapping, programming and graphics.

Team structure: Currently soliciting to form a new team, will consist of 4-5 persons.

Website: To be setup concurrently with release of review copy of game.

Contacts: If you are interested or serious, PM me.

Additional Info: Develop story using Campbell Monomyth model. Fully developed theme, plot, story line, and character development will be part of team decision. Will discuss later. Factors being considered for development, are as follows: 1) game design for a audience notably female (30-50 percent of the market) - dictates subject matter, story, graphics characteristics, game length, etc.; 2) casual game market - smaller size game (reduced play time, number of rooms/frames, etc). Smaller size would help reduce the timeline for development and testing stages, and 3) develop the first product with the intent for subsequent releases as a series.

Feedback: would consider ENCOURAGING ONLY.

yeah, and what about you? what's your history? why would anyone want to join a "team" formed currently only by you, which has no proven skill? i am very skeptic about this, and am NOT going to encourage this because there is nothing to encourage, no base!

hey you, janitor david_questdome (the one that made reply #1 Sunday July 16, 2006)

You posted "yeah, and what about you? what's your history? why would anyone want to join a "team" formed currently only by you, which has no proven skill? i am very skeptic about this, and am NOT going to encourage this because there is nothing to encourage, no base! "

Apparently you're not a native speaker of American or Queen's English, judging from your post Re: Looking for developers/projects on: Apr 25th, 2005, 12:01pm I live in Romania

In my post was Contacts: If you are interested or serious, PM me.  We have a saying "If you want to run with the big dogs be prepared to have your a** ripped."  Everyone else either read the post and went on or PM me if they were interested, and on one forum someone made a constructive criticism.  Regarding the first part of your post yeah, and what about you? what's your history?, here's your history! Congratulations, you got the distinction of being the second person on the net in about twenty-years that got me focused. I wrote my post to minimize threads.  Your opening alone is a glove in the face.  Since you responded to a document written to a post-secondary American English reading level, you opened the door.  This is a slight nip and an in your face.

Buddy you make a lot of ****ing asumptions, only 1 member, no proven skills, etc.  At the bottom of the post was Feedback: would consider ENCOURAGING ONLY.

You know the saying about assume, keep me out.  First this was a recruitment.  The past week, this week and the next I am in the process of screening individuals.  Second, you can't just "join a team" especially when it's a venture.  Third, you aren't stupid enough or hopefully do not have a cognative disorder to believe that anything substantive would be provided before executing a nondisclosure agreement and you can be sure I do write it as an contract enforcible in both my and your country.  If you believe otherwise I'll be glad to sign quitclaim deeds to any property in the United States for the right price
.  Fourth, you know there is a saying, "If you don't have anything good to say then don't say anything".  Encouraging means something positive

Next time slow down, if there's nothing positive to say then don't.  Going through your other posts "your own words" gave ammunition if I really wanted to FLAME you, I would be hunting bear armed for elephant and tenacious as a pitbull.  In adopting part of your reply to my post, I am very skeptic about your use of English and am not going to encourage using it to read and respond to document written for somone with a post-secondary reading level, there's no basis for it.  Aside from "base"/"basis" at the end of your reply, a quick perusal, the following are directly from some of your posts showed problems in written communications (spelling, capitalization, and/or grammar)

Pardon my intrusion, but it seems you are getting angry out of nothing. There is no excuse for attacking David like you do, nor for David to question your capabilities. In addition, the fact that you do not accept replies unless they are encouraging ones doesn't seem professional at all.

I noticed that you keep referring to sayings. Here is one: "If you want to be respected by others, respect them yourself!"
