Better yet, declare that Myst is the best game that ever was, is, or ever will be -- that usually livens things up. :

Yeah, a Myst knock-down, drag-out debacle is usually worth a couple of hundred posts.
And that's from SirDave alone.
Seriously. This Forum is not dead. Don't get me wrong - I visit Gameboomers sometimes, and AdventureGamers even less. They're great sites - but they aren't JA+.
And they don't have Randy and Aya and Harriet and the Roberts and Ray and Audrey and Jennifer and Ryan and Michal and Sudeep and Agustin and Shannon and Bob and Scott and Alexander and Vicky and Ricardo and Ugur and Susan and Dimitris and Val and you and me.
Pbbbft! Just go toodle on and then come hobblin' back to JA+. May we call you "Job" then? We'll mend your torn clothes, help you heal your shattered illusions, feed you when you're hungry - we'll even let you back in on our hard drives. Need a nice bath? You can always go behind your Relto. Clothing optional. This just in - not yet, so I guess you'll have to wear your Prada®.
There is a wealth of way-back Adventure Game history in these hallowed halls of wisdom. That alone is worth a lot to a lot of people here. Sure! We fight, squabble, bicker, complain, eviscerate Topics, denigrate games, destroy lives. What's the prob?
JA+ ain' goin' anywhere.
Come on back! And don't be such a harbinger of Captain Bring-Down gloom 'n' doom.
Unless you want to, of course.
Please proofread your posts carefully to see if you any words out.

Exactly. No disrespect to those sites, I visit them fairly regularly myself, but for various reasons their forums don't fit me, at least not in the same way the JA forums do.

Only when it comes to things that get better with size like bank accounts, classic PC adventure game collections and Papabrody's world-famous double pepperoni pizzas with extra cheese.
Cheers, Terry

That would be slightly difficult as I have yet to experience the joys of myst.

Don't do it! There is no middle ground with that game. You either love it or hate it.

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

You wouldn't have to go back to the Dewey Decimal system, now would you.

Wow, the mere fact that she CAN tread on thin waters proves beyond a doubt that she IS an ex-librarian. Now, if she was only treading on thin ice - well- she could be lyin about that librarian thing...

| Deleted User | What do librarians do anyhow? Alphabetize, categorize, check books in, check books out, tell us to be quiet if we talk to loud. Do they served any real purpose? I'm amazed people today still use the library. An antiquated institution. Are these librarians really the Dark People from Dreamfall and are giving shelter to the White of the Draic Kin?
Okay Caroline.....did I stir things up enough?
