Played "BladeRunner" twice - loved it the second time too!

I also played "Still Life" twice - sweet both times!

"Rule of Rose" - my last PS2 game looks like it can be played several times with it's multiple endings:

Oh - "
" I played several times along with "Indy and the fate of Atlantis!"

I wonder why. :
I suppose it must be because the entire game of D is timed (about two hours, if I remember correctly). I probably had a few minutes left in the game, and the game stopped. I lost. D won.

D's biggest complaint with me - and probably several other players - was there was no saving your progress. I never replayed it, so I never finished it. Had a terrible time getting it to install, as well.

I have played Zork Nemesis twice, and Shivers and Sanitarium each three times. I was a "n00b" to PC Adventure gaming at the time, and those games enthralled me to no end.

Please proofread your posts carefully to see if you any words out.

.

Why yes, I have replayed practically every good game I've ever owned in every genre at least once - many of them several times.

The most replays so far has been Fallout 1 & 2 played back-to-back for the 8th time recently. Just started replaying Gabriel Knight 3 for the second time tonight and completed re-replays of around a dozen other various classic RPGs, AGs and hybrids just last month.

For PC AGs, probably Grim Fandango has gotten the most replays with four and it would have been five by now if I could get it to install on WinXP. For PC shooters, I've replayed virtually every single good one made between Wolfenstein 3D and Return To Castle Wolfenstein at least once or twice not counting official EPs, player created mods or MP modes. For Turn Based Strategies, Civ 2, WarCraft 2, StarCraft with Brood War and Alpha Centauri with Alien Crossfire have all been replayed so many times I've lost count.

Cheers,  Terry

This question leaves me
.

I always replay my games.

The question I should be answering instead is: which games in my collection have I only played one time?  For whatever the reasons are that have kept me from replaying, those games are:
- Sanitarium
- Phantasmagoria
- Black Mirror
- Myst 4: Revelation
- Under a Killing Moon
- The Pandora Directive
- King's Quest 1-4
- And Then There Were None
- The 11th Hour
- Daria's Inferno
- Leisure Suit Larry 2
- AGD Interactive's King's Quest 1 & 2 remakes

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

I replay game every year

yesterday I just finished Nancy Drew Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake.

Maybe next month I should replay Fahrenheit or Fable, I think I will pick different endings. (Especially Fable. It has 4 endings for original game and 4 endings for lost chapters)
Sorry for my bad English.

You bet! The great ones will always be great over and over again. I especially love to replay my favorites when what we are mostly getting these days are  hybrid action/adventures which keep eating away at what we love about adventure games.

I replay GK2 every year. That's my all-time fav game. I want to play The Pandora Directive again, but it's too technical to get it working on XP.The last time I played it was on Windows 95.

Obsidian and Timelapse - both times to help out a friend.  And Pandora's Box and Jewels of the Oracle because they are just puzzles when I'm between games.

Yeah I replay many of my games but some long time should pass after the first time so I can feel like I forgot it or something....but I never do
I always remember everything...does it happen with you too?
I replayed Black Mirror and many Nancy Drew's(
) over the years....and Grim Fandango too...I'm planning to replay Fahrenheit but I'm stalling....maybe I'll forget some parts...

To be honest, I can't see the point. Once you know the puzzles and the story, what's left to pull you in apart from the graphics? There are so many adventure games now I simply finish one and move on to the next. I think it would be nice to re-install an old game and walk around the environment for a bit for nostalgia, but then I'd probably just uninstall it again.

Gabriel Knight 2 - Never finished the first time - got stuck at the dressing room in chapter 6 - so I had to replay it. Would love to play again, but my CDs are too scratched.

Curse of Monkey Island - Played at least three times. Once on Mega Monkey difficulty.

Grim Fandango - I actually missed a couple of things when playing a second time. I really should play it again.

Discworld 2 - I love that game. I'd play it again if it was easy to get working on winxp.

Escape from Moneky Island - The first time I played was on an old computer and the voices didn't work properly. I also thought I had a bug near the end and uninstalled. Had to replay it for a better expreience.

Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Fun game. Could only get ot to work on DOS mode the second time, so the quality wasn't as good as the first time.

All the games I played twice, is due the fact in the first time I was faced  problems with fatal bugs.

So, this way..I played twice Phantasmagoria 1 and Byzantine

I need to replay Riven and Zork Nemesis...due the same problem.

So far I have only played 2 games more than once.

The first was Gothic and I plan to go back.  That is when I get my laptop running again.

And the second was Jedi Knight Academy.

Both have good replay value, particularly Gothic.

And Jedi Academy played as a Jedi and as a Dark Side Jedi.

awesome!

There are several games I've played more than once. Some of them I enjoyed so much that after finishing them I turned around and immediately replayed them all over again (Obsidian, Timelapse, TLJ, Shivers, Myst III: Exile).  Others I just replayed because I had an afternoon free, I knew they wouldn't take long, and I felt like visiting the gameworld again. And some I replayed because I forgot most of them but remembered I enjoyed them a lot the first time I played.

I'm not going to bother listing any more games that I've replayed. I am mostly posting here to try to get my post count up past 1000. Hopefully after that I will no longer be rated as a "private detective." When I see "private detective" I think "private dick" and that's just nasty.

Really? I would have thought a "public dick" is much nastier.

Easy for me to say... when I see "private detective" I think "private eye"....  :

I think I listed all my "replayed" games on an old post last year - but just recently,  I finished Myst Revelation (third time around) - that spider chair puzzle gets easier and easier... [smiley=wink.gif]

I have many faverites that I have played many times and all the games that I like real well I play at least three times just to make sure I havn't missed anything.  I usually find that taking a different route through the game takes me to places I had missed before.  I think if you play a game only once you miss a lot of cool things the developers worked so hard to create and especially if you use a walkthrough.

Just a few actually.

(Excluding those I've beta tested)

Amber: Journey's Beyond
Phantasmagoria
LightHouse
Shivers
Darkfall: The Journal
Blackstone Chronicles
Aura

Hmmm, I'm sensing a majority here...

I think I've mentioned several times that I replay games I like. All the Gabriel Knights for instance, 3 times each and 2 of the Tex Murphy games, namely UAKM and Pandora Directive, haven't replayed Overseer yet. Also some of the Monkey Island games - but not No. 4!!!!!

Spycraft is another I've played twice, Kings Quest 7 also and frankly others that I can't think of right now - since we've moved house I have a whole cupboard to store games and unless they're sitting right in front of me, I don't even remember all of them.

I know a lot of people consider replaying a game a waste of time, but to me it's a bit like revisiting an old friend, you know what to expect and that can be part of the charm.

I've played the 3 last Tex Murphy games multiple times. I've played Sanitarium 3 times. TLJ about 4 times, Zork Nemesis about 4 times, Grand Inquisitor about 3, Still Life 2 times, Dark Fall and DF2  2 times each, Syberia 1 and 2 about 3 times each, Mission Critical about 5 times, Myst 3 or 4 times, Riven twice, Black Mirror twice (great puzzles, too depressing), Buried In Time-countlessly, Journeyman 1 twice, Legacy in Time 3 times, (Tim Furnish's 'Out of Order' and Deirdre Kiai's 'Cubert Badbone' both free games, twice each) and Bioscopia twice. Currently replaying Omega Stone, Post Mortem and Schizm, second times for all of those. I FINALLY finished Chemicus after trying it once before. Games I just can't seem to get through, Rhem 1 and now it looks like Rhem 2 is going to end up dead  even after doing the maze! The Ward, Lightbringer,Gabriel Knight Blood of the Damned and 2 of the (I don't know how many there are) Atlantis games. A game I KNOW I will never replay: Dreamfall, graphics and most of the  puzzles were great,  the fighting ruined it!
