Status : Online | :-/Ok,I see I'm not the only one who has had this problem.I found simular discriptions back on page 8.Now to get the fix?? :
I checked the debug file and found this over and over and over...
Error message in debug file:

Status : Online | Have you run the dxdiag tests lately ? Have you tried to update or roll back your video drivers ?
Have you tried to play the game without the patches ?

Status : Online | Yes,have run and passed all dxdiag test.Tried rolling back acceleration but then game won't even load.The drivers have worked up to this part of the game so I believe it must be something else.I'm thinking a bad file.The debug hints that a BINK file is corrupted or not working properly.I guess I'm kinda stuck for now.Without those legs,Oscar can't run the train. :-/

Can't remember if that's the place you're stuck at?
If you suspect a corrupt file on the CD(s) which may have subsequently been copied to the hard drive during installation then look at http://www.justadventure.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1148038666/3#3
for one method of checking.
Is it the European or USA version CD or DVD version btw?

Status : Online | Hi,no I'm stuck in Valadiene before I even get to the train.It where Kate has to send the material into the factory to build Oscar's legs.That patch you mentioned is for later in the game.Maybe someone could send me a saved game just after Oscar's legs are built.
I have the US version of two CD's DPV 1.0 made in Canada.
I think it must be a bad draw file that is stopping the game.Thanks for trying to help.

Status : Online | I had all sorts of problems with the Bink videos in Syberia as well, but they didn't affect actual gameplay. I just had to deal with some cutscenes that didn't play properly.
