I have played this game through, and basically enjoyed it except for one MAJOR irritation.  And this is that Martin walks as slow as molasses poured out on an Antartic ice-floe.  I timed one scene and it took him 54 seconds to walk across my computer screen.  I mean, compared to Martin Holan, Kate Walker is jet propelled, even when powered by only a single mouse-click (walk rather than run).

Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, he does walk slowely, but you can skip it by double-clicking.
It's only annoying when you need to interact with several things on the same screen.

Double-clicking speeds things up to the rate of Kate Walker at a walk.  The screen still takes from 20-30 seconds to fade out and be replaced by the next scene; it runs at maybe a quarter of the speed the same double-clicking did in Black Mirror.

Deleted UserI just assumed he had fallen arches, or on the bright side, was simply in no hurry with his life.

I enjoyed Nibiru too, more so than Black Mirror (got tired of returning to the same 'sets' over and over again in Black Mirror).

I even enjoyed the linearity (is tbat a word??) of Nibiru. Sometimes I like having a game unfold in steps like that.

And it was a gorgeous game to look at too. Maybe THAT"S why Martin walks so slow - he's taking in all the lush scenery

Apparently Martin is slow for everyone, but it is so bad as far as I am concerned that I have been thinking it was some sort of computer settings/capacity problem.

Did you turn off the AntiAliasing in the in game settings ?
That sped it up for me by a lot.

I enjoyed this one a lot and really only went to a walkthrough when I got to the marble puzzle but it didn't help too much on it. The only place I was stumped a little was right at the beginning but I figured it out in a short time.
I really didn't notice that he moved slow as I was enjoying the game to much to notice.  Sometimes it's good for a charater not to move too fast as you can hurry through a screen and miss something you will need.  All in all I thought it was a very good game.
