Deleted UserFrom what I've seen of Marilyn Manson, I believe he's a really brilliant guy. He's very unusual, that's for sure, but I think he has a distance to it. Just like Alice Cooper. People who blaim these kind of musicians for things like Columbine just haven't got it. People who are grown up in a sane environment doesn't go crazy about music like this.

I'm not really a devoted fan of Manson's kind of music, but I think he makes some kick ass songs.

I've never really understand the deal about Eminem. But then again, I'm not into his kind of music at all. I also think that his image and his career doesn't quite match...

When it comes to music, I really respect those who make the music themselves, and for the purpose of making a serious statement of some sort. It really doesn't matter what the message and music style is. Other artists though, that are the spawn of the record companies and their desire to squeeze money out of consumers, artists that get the music written for them, like Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears etc. really annoy me. It's they, if any, who are harming kids out there...

I totally agree! I don't think Manson is too scary or something like that, I listen too much worse music myself, his image just bothers me, he makes commersial music that isn't in genres that aren't suppose to be commersial (my opinion).

I have no clue what you mean by that, I didn't write 'any'. ??? ???

It was a joke based on Homer Simpson -

he's getting instructions on how to boot up a computer - and he's told to 'hit any key.'

He starts screaming down the phone -
'I haven't got an 'any' key....''

That's why I said I didn't have a modify button on my keyboard

Deleted UserHehe, that episode is one of my favourites. It's the one where he becomes extremely fat so he can work at home. Isn't it at the computer keyboard he says these lines? And then he tries to order a Tab on it too!

Btw: Saw another The Awful Truth episode yesterday. I loved the part about Holiday Inn. They had hired illegal immigrants from Mexico and heavily underpaid them. When the workers tried to start a union they were punished by the hotel director, who reported them to the authorities so they would get deported. In revenge, Moore hires two inspectors and finds a number of health and safety violations inside the hotel and reports them to the authorities as well. Brilliant stuff!

I love the parts where they try to get hold of the boss at a big company HQ somewhere, and all they get is some PR representative. When they don't give up, people try to get rid of them in any way possible. They all look so foolish on TV... It's interesting to see how people act when they obviously know they cannot defend themselves against some legitimate accusations, but they have to keep up a good appearance for their company, being afraid of losing their jobs.
