I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

And Syberia 2 had those annoying little toot toot people that couldn't speak plain English. And Syberia 2 had that annoying ice village where I couldn't tell what I was looking at.

I think the division is absolutely artificial; the game was probably issued in two parts for the usual bogus "marketing" reasons. If the game had been put all together on a DVD, as it should have been, I don't think people would be finding any fundamental differences between different parts of the game.

Status : Online | Not really; I mean, of course it's one big story, but so are the first six Star Trek films. That doesn't mean each of the original six aren't different films. They ARE different, whether they tell one big story or not. Same with "Syberia"...sure it's one big story, but it IS in two parts. All this thread is about is which one did you like better, and which one did you enjoy more. The games were very much different; the controls/menu are slightly different, the graphics are different, and the look and feel of each game is also vastly different. "Syberia 1" was kinda steampunk, while "Syberia 2" had a lot of fantasy feel in there. The differences abound...so this thread is valid. LOL

That's why I made another thread asking for a list of steampunk games. LOL

But these games do not go into a favorite list for me though enjoyable and worth the play I dont think either were what I would call GREAT games. But that just my oinion.

I'm kinda surprised everyone hates the Barrockstadt level...I loved that one!! It was my all-time favorite in the entire game, and it was the only one I really felt emotional about leaving. LOL

Shame on me then barging in on a topic for fanboys only. : What about people then who (dis)liked both games equally?

Start your own poll. :

In that case, you're obviously not qualified to vote, just as I can't vote on which "Star Quest" game I liked best, because I've never played them. Sheesh, people!! I figured people in the two cases above would be able to figure out "what about them" on their own, because it's kinda...you know...OBVIOUS.

I thought the running back and forth was worse in the second game.
