Status : Online		First of all, it's great to be back again in the JA forums. It has been w-a-y too long since my last post, and the last time the forum was online, but here's to a brand new start.

I'm having trouble running Syberia. I've tried both the medium and full installations, and they went successfully without any trouble. only problem is when I try running the game, I get a message "Please insert Syberia CD number 1 and restart the application". This despite the fact that CD #1 is in the CD drive. I couldn't find any patch or another solution. Could you help, please?

Status : Offline		How old and what speed is your CD ROM rated at?  Some of the older models (10X and under) will not read newer CD's.

I had a similar problem with Thief - It installed just fine, but refused to play.

Short of that, the CD may be dirty or defective. I've not seen any posts relating to this specific problem.
