And here are some pretty pictures I took this afternoon.  Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens, in the Adelaide Hills.

The leaves in the foreground here were enormous, about 3 foot diameter.

Ah, gorgeous, Caroline!  Fall is still my favorite time of the year, although right now I'm enjoying all our spring flowers.

.

Beautiful scenes from the southern hemisphere Caroline.

Autumn has always been my favorite time of the year too and it's nice that due to this crazy, tilting, equatorially upsidedown world, you can fly around the globe and experience it at different times in different places in the same year.

Cheers,  Terry

Just beautiful!

I'd forgotten what autumn looks like, since we don't get one here in Florida  :'(

That's one of the reasons I haven't moved further south, Krkdnose, plus you have bigger bugs. [smiley=shudder.gif]

No, we don't have autumn in Florida, that's why we all go to North Carolina in the Fall.

Those pictures are so beautiful.  What are you're temps like this time of the year?

Very beautiful pics, Caroline! 8-)

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

Well come on people!   Spring time trees are covered in blossom!  Get out there and photograph them.

Everything's a bit wet from the 3 days of rain we've been having (with more to come), but we have a wild cherry tree in the backyard that should be pretty in pink blossoms soon enough.

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

daytime temps are around 20 this time of year.  Winter they drop to 15.  That's Centigrade by the way.

I always used to hate autumn in England because it meant a very long drab and grey winter....
