I was waiting for that to happen - walked into EB Games today and noticed that it was $19.99, so I snatched it up before it became extinct on the store shelves.

I'm enough of a Myst fangirl that I want to see how it all ends, but not enough that I was going to buy it for $40-50 or however much it originally cost.

I'm really in the mood for Dreamfall, but it seems like all the stores have already sold their one copy (if they got one to begin with), so I'll just have to wait on that one.

The last new game I played was And Then There Were None, back in January, so I've been itching for something new.  And just because I name a set of twins in The Sims 2 Jerry & Michael, it is not the equivalent of playing Scratches.

However, I was planning to replay Myst 4 at some point, so I'm wondering if I should do that or just dive right into Myst 5.  So, I present a poll for your ideas.  That, and I felt like posting a poll.

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

I voted for you not to replay it, but then I've never been a big fan of replaying adventures, no matter how much I enjoyed them.

I've never played the Myst series.  Part of the reason is that I usually don't like that style of game - i.e. tons of exploring, lever puzzles, and note writing.  But then I really liked Zork Nemesis.  I really don't like "screenshot" movement, however.  Never could handle it unless there was some panning.  So if I started with Myst III or IV, how confusing would the storyline be for me?

Myst III and Myst IV, Myst IV in particular,  are good games to play without knowing the whole story.  Myst IV does it extra well - you learn all you need to know about Atrus and his dysfunctional family.

I don't think one should play any game one doesn't want to play - but if you want to play a Myst series game - and haven't - I'd start with Myst IV - my opinion.

I'd say play Myst 5. No one should have unplayed Myst games sitting around. (OK, I have URU waiting to be played, but that's not real Myst. "RealMyst", get it?
)

Don't mind me, it's getting late here. [smiley=boggled.gif]

I'm about to start Myst 5 myself, so I think you should, too.  That's my totally biased opinion.

Skittles is a female!

How many cats do I have that are voting in this poll?

I have two cats in RL, and I selected that option so I could see the votes, that leaves one more cat.  Could it be the stray that comes around and eats all the cat food in the garage? Do they have internet cafes for cats?  :

So it seems most people think I'm a Myst fangirl.
