Lucas Arts has informed me that they have a new game or games that they will be showing at the E3 that JA should find very interesting.

Could be an adventure game, might be an Indiana Jones game - not really allowed to say anything more until next week.

As Lucas Arts is little more than a distributor or some such animal (they disbanded their actual software development house), I take little they make with a grain of salt.

Viva Telltale Games!  [smiley=rockin.gif]

You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.

Even if it is going to be a game with a character we know and love, I doubt it will be a pure adventure game.

Gah!  It's that season isn't it?  E3 season!

Anyway, I'm kinda excited, but I'll wait for the post-E3 coverage.

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

I won't get excited about any possible LucasArts adventure game until the game is on store shelves. Any time before that, they are still likely to pull it. That Sam & Max 2 cancellation still hurts.

If I can venture a guess, I bet they have a new Star Wars action/adventure in the works.  :
Nope, definitely not any high hopes here.

I'm leaning in that direction also, an action/adventure or hybrid involving Star Wars or Indiana Jones. Unlike you though, this could be a very good thing indeed. Can't wait to hear the details.

It's not exactly a secret that they are working on an Indiana Jones game.

Won't be an adventure though.

Is it another Star Wars game? Because Lucasarts have only made several million of them, I'm sure the franchise isn't dead yet.

Actually, yeah, it's dead.  8-)

Yeah, but neither were the last two.

I vote for more FOA clones.

There was a time (and it feels like it's been a looong time ago) when a new LucasArts game announcement used to mean something.... nowadays, it doesn't...

I'll be surprised if it's really an adventure game. But I'm already surprised that they told you anything at all, since JA isn't one of the "big" game sites.

So uhm, dare I ask which game it was they thought JA should find very interesting? Can't say I discovered anything interesting in their line-up...

Same here.

They all looked rubbish even the Indiana Jones game looked  Baaah!!

And come on "Thrillville" it's like they never played Theme Park.

I still had the stupid thought that LucasArts still had a shred of integrity.  After watching the trailer to "Trillville",I know I was wrong.  Go watch it, but have a box of tissues nearby.  I mean...I hoped that the word "hottie" would never be associated with a LucasArts game, other than Elaine Marley.

I doubt they even remember who Guybrush is...

It would take a lot for me to get excited about what they are doing. I really enjoyed the early Indiana Jones games but when I got Infernal Machine it ended it for me. I did play all the way through it but I certainly wouldn't call it an adventure game and I never bought another one of there games.

As long as Jim Ward is running Lucasarts we probably won't see them release an adventure game.  In this video interview with G4 at E3, he says he doesn't want to revisit the old series until 2015.

The new Indy game looked good imo, sure it's not the classic adventure style but the game itself with the Euphoria physics and such looked good I thought.

That is considering that they have not been bought up by Microsoft and have Microsoft kill the games division!  And have Microsoft make the last 3 Star Wars movies and finally have Luke Skywalker turn to the darkside of the force after having to deal with Microsoft's Operating System's software!  :-/

I used to swear by www.mapblast.com

Not anymore!

Microsoft bought it up...................and killed it!

It is no longer supported, but instead it now goes to Microsofts crappy betta MSN Windows Live Local maps.

Hello There!

Well.........I just checked Mapblast again, and now it looks like the old Mapblast web site again.

I guess a lot of people must have cursed and spat upon the ground after uttering Bill Gates name!

Now to get the bigger maps you have to enroll.   Still the same frigging Microsoft, either you belong to them or you get the shaft!

AAHH!
