As far as a lack of interactivity goes - I literally fell asleep at the keyboard playing Syberia, slogged on to play Syberia II, TLJ

I agree with you, specially when comparing those games with old pointnclicks adventures.

I remember adventures like MIsland 1-2 and SimonSorcerer 1-2 (BTW my favourite alltime adventure) which had a scrolling inventory which would hold numerous items and you had to stretch your mind to advance in the game.

Also discworld 1-2 made me recheck a large inventory to solve puzzles.

Can you recommend a good adventure game which makes you think?

If you want large inventories and interesting puzzles, look no further than Voyage, and, Return to Mysterious Island, both by kheops studios. The inventories are basically the same in both games, with tabs to change to each page of items. There are loads of things to pick up and combine, plus you can un-combine items to reuse them with other items to make different tools, potions, whatever. I highly recommend voyage first, even though some think that RTMI is better. I think Voyage is a little bit more challenging and involving personally. Also, check out Runaway, which is cartoony but a lot of fun in a classic point n click style, similar to the best lucas arts games such as monkey island.
