Status : Offline | I have to say that's one of the best previews I have seen in a very long time. They seem to have all the right idea's on what real adventure games are all about. If the game acually follows the guide lines set forth in this preview it will be a perfect adventure game. Those screen shots are really great too. I read about this game a while back and had kind of forgotten about it and it's nice to see it's still moving along.

| Deleted User | This is one of those rare old-skool AG games that's got me interested in the genre again... alongside Scratches (still waiting for a uk release on that one, get spanking your publishers Agus!). Just wanted to say thanks for bringing it to my attention again!
I'm just praying for proper vocal work. I'd do the voice direction myself if they offered it to me, seriously! I can never understand bad dubs. I've sat in on some non-A-list v/o's for my last series here in London, even joined in with some suggestions, and cannot understand why the hell so many publishers do such a bad job - particularly when I've heard good volunteer efforts in amateur AG's. If they can afford a studio, they can afford people who care about what they're doing. 'Nuff said.

Seriously. Half the time it sounds like they just pull people off the street. But that's with every aspect. I've seen people with an hour to waste come up with more creative and appealling box cover art for video games or DVDs than most commercial studios.
To be fair, I think a lot of publishers simply do not care. A lot of the times, the bad voice work sounds really exagerrated. I have a feeling sometimes second takes are not allowed, or it seems as if the actor was just given a sheet of lines, and therefore is reading every line of dialogue with no understanding of what context it is being used in.

Status : Online | I'm still looking for new info on this game. I believe it's Q2 for germany which should be anytime between now and next month I guess. Everywhere else I think is scheduled for august. I found some more screenshots I've not seen, some of which are variations on what's been posted.

If you don't have a voice director who understands the nature of game dialogue or who can't get the best out of the actors it's a major problem.
If the actors are badly cast so they're trying to do voices that aren't in their range.
If the context isn't clear or the actors aren't given enough chance to find their roles.
If the lines are recorded for one character at a time so the actors never get the chance to play off one-another.
If the dialogue isn't written with speaking in mind. Something that's common with less experienced writers is that they never speak their lines out loud when writing them. Only by doing so will you find out if they work as dialogue.
