I've never been one for taking naps. Unless I'm incredibly tired, sleeping for a small amount during the day feels wrong. But then, I usually sleep well enough during the night.

I totally was into this a longggggggggg time ago! But you have to be careful! [smiley=shudder.gif]
There was this woman that I once did the same kind of deal, and she did not mind, being that she really enjoyed to feel her "privates" "orally talked to" during her sleep.
She enjoyed being wakened to a state of utter delirium 2 times.
The THIRD TIME!; however, she had a very vivid dream! [smiley=hyper.gif].
What was the outcome!
She clamped her thighs on my head like a vice grip, and twisted to her left so fast that she twisted my head and threw me out of the bed still gripping my neck! [smiley=shudder.gif]
Needless to say.....................
No oral manuevers while the subject of one's attention is sleep!
Unless you get your neck muscles in really good shape!
Thighs can be very deadly weapons indeed!
Cuddling, nuzzling, and gently and tenderly kissing love subject's face, shoulder and neck while softly talking is a fantastic compromise while you are half sleep and in each others arms with as much of your bodies in contact from head to toe!
Have done it.
LOVE IT! [smiley=hi_five.gif]
Wayyyyyyyy miss it now!
Great way to express a very tender and loving affection after a hard days hardships!
You can also continue talking, cuddling, and gently nibbling and kissing your loved one, while they have gone to sleep!
Besides, afterwards you can spoon and the man behind the "lady" can let out a "cable" and "couple" with the sleeping partner. Joined together in a very warm and loving "union" while they sleep together!
What do you think!
Is this a good compromise or not!

How about hiring a live-in baby sitter that you trust so that those darling little ones get corraled by the baby sitter in the next room while you engage in your military manuevers in your room!

My sincerest apologies Alpine!
What manner of punishment do you consider appropriate to administer.
The lash, the garrote, the strappado, or just hot coals on my toes!
Or simply build a nice pyre!

I haven't dated anyone with kids that young in a long time. Now I'm more likely to be interrupted by a teenager who needs me to move my car because I've got them blocked in.

Anyway, I think that if one enjoys making love to someone practically unconscious (i.e., asleep), well, let's just say: I would worry about feelings of loneliness, isolation, and more seriously - necrophilia - and seek help.

It was decades ago when I saw the byline on the cover of my new (and young) wife's copy of Glamour magazine that caused me to pick it up to see what "how to keep your sex life alive!" smut they might be peddling.
It was pretty simple. Even younger people get exhausted during the course of the day when life gets busy (and how often does it not?). Morning-wood isn't always appreciated either, so their answer? Love in the afternoon!
Heck, even if you do get me all "started" late at night, there's no guarantee I can finish the job. (recent girlfriend quote: "that's your problem". Hmmmph.)
So wot say? Why don't we make room for this DURING our day? Why does it always have to be when you wake up or while someone else is trying to get to sleep?
I know, you folks with kids are chuckling... but hey, I think you could find a way if you really wanted to.
Eh?

Hello There!
Well..................... Not A Speck Of Cereal....
We could take a page from Jerry Hall (The one who was stupid enough to think that the two-timing piece of dirt called Mick Jagger would be willing to be loyal to her)
Wherever, whenever they stayed................
Several times a day she would stoop down and perform "oral exercises" [smiley=devil_smiley_grintail.gif]
The man can certainly do the same thing during the day........ [smiley=angel_smiley.gif]
After several bouts of "exercise" throughout the day, the libido should be a "little" reved up for more "intense" exercises!
It worked for Jerry Hall.......FOR YEARS!!!!!!!!
That piece of barf called Mick Jagger stayed with her for a very long time because of this....
But he never really loved her I think.......
Mick Jagger seems only to love himself.......
But if the other person really loves you, or at least cares enough for you.
Such an improptu "performance" could get the ball started.............. [smiley=rolleyes.gif]
What do you think.....

Each to their own, but really, was such a life really all that much fun? Was she ever scared to be out of the house too long in case she missed one of her 'exercise times' and he'd work out with someone else, anyone else, the nearest opening he could find?
Frankly Mick Jagger has always repulsed me, physically and in every other way. Gross.

Shouldn't we all be more successful targeting love in the afternoon, in general?

That is such [smiley=bullcrap.gif]!
In Atlanta (and most other places), your job is from *8* to 5. NO ONE works a "9-to-5" job. It doesn't exist (except in that silly Dolly Partin movie of decades ago).
One has to get up at 5:30 AM to get ready and then drive an hour and a half to work in morning rush-hour traffic, and gets out (if one is lucky) at 5:00 PM, and then gets home maybe by 6:30 - if they are lucky.
Big city folks' jobs take 11 to 14 hours out of their 24-hour days.
"9-to-5" job. Bah. Doesn't exist. And never has.
No wonder people here are so sleep-deprived.

I live 10 minutes from the CBD but we have to be out by 8am because the traffic builds enormously after 8.10. My last job was out to the western suburbs so it took me 45 minutes morning and night to travel 15 kilometres simply because of the city traffic. I started off by enjoying the quiet time alone in the car (no kids for a change) but ended by resenting like crazy the dead time sitting at traffic lights.
We get up around 6.45am. Hubby and kids are on the road by 7.50am.
