I myself quite like FMV games, but I don't really find the approach (interface) that I call "walking on pictures" (that is, first person game where you would be able to stand only at some pre-defined locations) very appealing as it seems kinda unrealistic to me and hard to be able to understand where exactly I am well enough.

So, I wonder if there are FMV (or semi-FMV (filmed actors, not filmed backgrounds)) games that do not use this interface and use either 3rd person or something else.

So far, I know 4 such games:
Gabriel Knight 2 (3rd person point and click)
3rd, 4th and 5th Tex Murphy games (Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, Tex Murphy: Overseer) where the approach is also first person, but not "walking on pictures" style - it gives you ability to walk around freely instead.

So, I wonder, if there are any other non-"walking on pictures" FMV or semi-FMV adventure games except for these 4 I already named?

Thanks in advance.
