It follows the trail and the trials of Gus' great grandaughter, but flashes back to Gus' life again for a good portion of the game. You'll also see that wierdly cool mask again. Warning!!! Still Life is a lot gorier than Post Mortem, but if you play mature games I think you'll be impressed.

I will have to also check out Still Life, thanks!

Status : Online | I really enjoyed Post Mortem, even though it had badly translated dialogue and frustrating puzzles. It had a decent plot and good voice acting, and I really liked the main character Gus, it was such a change from the usual male protagonists who act like cartoons even in serious games (the other character you play in the game is a good example, but it's still fun talking to the same with him to see how he acts.) I got the two good endings - didn't feel like playing again and not helping that person.
I liked playing Still Life as well. It had better puzzles and it was longer, but although the dialogues improved the voice acting for most minor characters was aweful, it was really bad seeing such cartoony characters in a serious game. Also, you got to play as Gus again, which was fun. Too bad they changed his character at the places to fit the plot, at least they kept the original voice actor. The worst thing about Still Life is the ending, they could've done it alot better even if they did run out of time and money, that ending was just annoying.

Status : Offline | WAIT! WAIT!! All of the people who questioned the value of the were correct, but........ Rumor control at the time said that there was supposed to be a sequal to Still Life. It was supposed to be a one-more-game sequal (Not a series) and was supposed to clear all the vaguenesses up, and clear Gus' name from long ago. Besides, I still think her father did it, so I'm hoping the next game proves I'm correct. Has anyone heard rumors of Still Life II?

| Deleted User | Wow, I didn't know that Still Life was a sequel to Post Mortem. I've played PM and loved it. I have SL, but haven't played it yet. Luckily, my scan of this thread revealed that there were spoilers I hadn't yet read, so I'm safe. ;^)

Because that completely ruined it for me.

Play it! You won't be disappointed. There may well be some minor problems, but it has a real story; some interesting characters; several possible endings; and some really unique puzzles. For what it's worth, I thought I enjoyed the game more after playing Still Life.
