Which is your NUMBER 1 adventure game.(JUST ONE)

mine is THE LONGEST JOURNEY

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

Deja Vu (for personal reasons!)

can't name just one actually

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

This is a seriously unfair question. But since you asked

Broken Sword....no Sanitarium.....no wait, Discworld II....argh.....too many!!

Ok I'm gonna say Broken Sword. I hate you for making me pick only one!  >

Deleted UserGabriel Knight:  The Beast Within is #1.

Followed closely by The Longest Journey, Sherlock and the Rose Tattoo and Sherlock and the Serrated Scalpel.

I know that you said only one but I couldn't do it.   The stress was too great.  :'(

Are you asking for our favourite, or the one that we consider (on a critical judgement) to be the most well-made?

Monkey Island 2 is my favourite.

Well, i will certainly ask again in a few months (maybe sooner
) .

But

You guys only mark the oldies like GK and not sth new (apart from TLJ which is the best for me).

So

From what i can see GK 1,2 wins the prize (till now
)!!

I'm going to go for TLJ myself as well.  Unless Funcom decides the sequel should be played on the X-Box (in which case I'll bash the CD's into little pieces and ship them off with with very explicit instructions as to where they can stick them...

By the way, Nemesis was a great game as well... What!!! No mention of Syberia??? Bahaaaaaaa...

Oops - You managed to get in just a bit before I did mszv...

What?

Hehe
Inland I might do the same...I actually will have 8 CDs to bash into little pieces since I bought TLJ twice (in 2 different languages). Poor dumb me, wanted to support a company that does not want to support point and click adventures anymore ...  :-/

There's no way to narrow it down to just one! Each is special in it's own way. Ok, I'll admit it. I'm an adventure game addict. :'(

We can be heroes, just for one day.

I'm not surprised...but I'm definitely dissapointed and angry about it. U c TLJ is my second best adventure of all time, and I was enjoying its success for being an traditional adventure game. And now they just don't give a u-know-what-about-us for the suX-BOX (I'd like to thank a guy in another forum that wrote that first, and now I will use it quite a lot
)
