Many thanks for the tourney, Aya! This one, for me, was the hardest yet. Great job! [smiley=bowdown.gif]

Deleted UserThanks LadyK...I would love to look you and the hubby up next year when my wife and I go to the Big Apple.  I'm skipping the MM Tourney because ...it's SPRING finally!  No snow!  Warmer air!  Longer days!  Time to get outdoors and play!  Also got to play my copy of Scratches and find that darn horse in screenshot #10.

We'd love a visit if you get out here, PapaB!  We're about 65 miles south of NYC, but it's a straight shot on the Garden State Parkway.

Thanks for another great tourney Aya!

I can assure everyone that after a brief hiatus, I will create some trivia of my own for the forum.

BTW, the scariest part in Scratches will definitely be the easter egg.

i'll second that!

so, it's over already? time flies when you [s]are in pain[/s] have fun, doesn't it?! next tourney will be named "tourney de sade"!

congrats to bastich once again, this time for a flawless victory (100% correct guesses! 8-))

too bad qrious wasn't around... that would have been the perfect tourney to see them both in action! and if agustin and gg (remember him?) were there too, along with the rising forces papabrody and lady k, we would have a massacre! ok, i have said that there will be no more tourneys, but if i get a written contract from the above i might run a new one! (this doesn't mean that everyone else shouldn't be there... i trust that you will!
)

notice how the top 5 was all forum ppl? this is what all those years of practice have done! there were some great new players that appeared, like ragfox, nik and stefana, who, i believe, would do a lot better if there's a next time... of course, in order to be a next time on ja's main page, there has to be a first prize at least equally cool as this one, and i don't know if that can ever happen! have you thanked nucleosys for this awesome, one of a kind worldwide prize yet?!

i shouldn't fail to congratulate lady k for her first 10/10 week (that dracula week, which technically counts as a 10/10, even though she didn't get the point on a technicality) and elfstone for breaking his personal 50smth record, and almost touching 70...! also, shany for her impressive indie knowledge! 8-)

i think i had a couple of other things to say, but i forgot :

btw, to answer susan's question... you will see next week what's next!
it's actually going to be a mini-tourney of smth completely new (always sshot related though) and experimental... i do not know if it can work though, because of a particular detail that may be kinda hard to work right... we'll see... again, it will be experimental!

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Experimental, huh?  Bring it on.  I'd love being one of your guinea pigs, as long as there's not too much torture involved (and no microwaves ala DOTT).

Aaargh, don't let nr. 5 be Necronomicon! That was my first idea for that shot, but I kept going for other games cause I never expected that game to be among the easy screenshots.  :

Oh well, 8th place again. Not too bad really, considering the extra competitors.  8-)

And congratulations to Bastich, Papabrody and Lady Kestrel. Getting so many correct guesses, I'll never know how you guys do it! [smiley=bowdown.gif]

And of course a BIG thank you to the King of organising trivia tournaments: Aya, thanks again for this fun tourney! Well done!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Looking forward to your experimental mini-tourney!

did anyone talk about "easy" sshots? i only talked about 1 and 1.5 pts!!!

btw, let's see how everyone's observation skills are doing! all of the phoenix sshots were taken by me, except one... that one was taken from the inet somewhere... can you figure out which one it is? if you are observant, you will notice that there's smth in that sshot that is a little bit different than all the other similar sshots (no, it's not a watermark or anything!)... name which sshot that is and what it is that you think is different! (no pms, just post here)

Is it the Syberia screenshot? Because it's dimensions aren't the same as all the other pictures.

Is it one of the shots with the score at the top, such as Les Manley or Leisure Suit Larry?

In Mortville Manor, should it be your name in the box on the right instead of Leo's?

HEY! You're not supposed to agree with that!

congrats to bastich once again, this time for a flawless victory (100% correct guesses! 8-))

I don't think I'll ever do that again. I have to admit that the last few weeks I pretty much dreaded playing because of my silly rule. I was really glad to have a big enough lead that I didn't have to try too hard towards the end. I was going insane having to 100% verify every single guess. In reality, I'm pretty accurate as it is, so I wasted a lot of time verifying guesses that I didn't need to. I did still make about 15 or so unverified guesses though because of lack of time and/or laziness. Fortunately I was correct on them.

I have papabrody to thank for the prize though. The reason I played under a different name was because I wasn't planning on participating for the whole tourney and I didn't want the pressure of having to live up to my reputation. Papabrody came out of the gates so strong though that my insanely competitive nature was forced into action. Then, the prize was announced and I knew I was in the competition for good, so I revealed myself.

I'm glad you played.  I love the level of competition you inject into the tourney.   I look forward at some point challenging you again.  I bought Scratches, played a little of it, then decided to wait for the patch with your easter egg in it.

I didn't want to play the Mystery Manor Tourney unless you were going to too.  I see Aya is over there playing but I didn't see you there (unless you're using another name).

Again congrats!
