The topic pretty much says it all.

Currently I'm into Diplomacy and Settlers of Catan. (anybody who hasn't played settlers is missing out on a lot)

How about y'all?

P.S. I'm currently debating with myself whether to buy Civilization: the Board Game or not... anyone here played it?

I like playing my Scrabble game on the computer.
But.......if you want a fun game to play with a group of people, get OUTBURST! Very entertaining........

Scrabble, Monopoly, and Trivial Pursuit are my favorite board games. I'd play more varied board games (from what I've heard, Settlers of Catan sounds intriguing and innovative), but where I live everyone I know seems to play nothing but card games, particuarly Rook.

Are you talking about the board version of Sid Meier's Civilization here? I haven't tried that one but there is a board game from Avalon Hill called Advanced Civilization that is brilliant. Though you need at least four people for it to become challenging. Otherwise there is just too much space.
Feel free to ignore this post.

I was talking about Sid Meier's,but I'll look at Avalon Hill's game. I'm itching for a new strategy game.
