Didn't stop me, though!

True. But in my case Myst V & Bone, I don't even want to play! I do not like humorous games so I can pretty much say which one of those is the best in my opinion

Moment Of Silence IS AG of the year!

I haven't played any of them. Of course, I know I'm going to love Rhem 2, but Voyage and Myst V are also appealing to me. I also know I will never play Indigo, Bone, Still Life, Moment of Silence and Law and Order (just not my cup of tea) . I rarely play games the same year they come out since I have so many older games waiting in the wings. Heck, I'm just getting around to Bad Mojo Redux and Alida  :
.

I was just curious about the poll results compared to AG.

I'm not voting because none of the games on the list is my adventure game of the year (It's Phoenix Wright, which in fact is my game of the year, as I say in The Times).

Will Phoenix Wright ever be released for the PC? Or is it stuck in Nintendoland forever.

I would be very suprised if there were any Phoenix Wright PC games coming down the pike.    But who knows?

I didn't vote since there wasn't a "other" or "none of the above" option.

And MOS was released last year

No doubt!  Pretty much ruins the poll when someone wages a campaign like that IMO.

Reminds me of the time when Howard Stern's fanboys flooded People Magazine
s on-line poll and made Hank the Drunk, Angry Dwarf the Sexiest Man Alive.

i have only played still life, fahrenheit, martin mystere and moment of silence.
somehow i didn't like moment of silence..it was very slow and boring :/.
my choice for game of the year is Fahrenheit..i really loved the story and the characters in that game.
Martin mystere wasn't bad either and everything about in still life was top notch (except the ending) (one of the worst endings i have ever experienced..ugh)

It looks like this poll is going about the way I expected. I would have rated the list about the way it's going but there are a couple I havn't played.

Which actually would have been a better choice than some of the people they have picked.  Dennis Franz, anyone?

What I find interesting is seeing 3rd person games have a significant lead over 1st person.

However, I am looking forward to Myst 5, Rhem 2 and Voyage.

I've played a couple, but not nearly enough to vote.
