Thank you! Thank You! and THANK YOU!
The shots of the game Keepsake that you have posted online on your thread MoePerry have truly made my day today.
An extraordinarily beautiful protagonist to play the game with (Avatar-of course)
The elegance of her clothes!
The dazzling beauty of the landscape.
The magnificent views of the castle and grounds about.
The exquisite attention to the locations details.
The magnificence of the sights as well as the fascinating locations.
All providing a sublime, extraordinary, and remarkable feast for one's eyes and imagination.
This is a school of magic, where astounding studies of magic are made, coupled with unimaginable ethereal beauty to soothe the senses as well as elevate one's spirit.
This is how Hogwarts should have looked!
When I saw some of the initial screens on the european adventure forum, I focused mostly on the criticism that I gave concerning the text box and how problematic I felt that it was.
Now that I see these shots, I consider that I hit the mark truly, because to have such a hauntingly beautifully looking game like this, where it is obvious that the designers spent a great deal of effort and planning in creating such beautiful and elegant visuals.
To have the game marred by difficult to read text presentations, is nothing less than criminal.
The designers could do so much better, I felt!
I do not know how much sound and music play a role on this game. But if it is anything like the music of Syberia, this is a game, that just for the visuals alone, it is worth to buy and keep.
Again..........................
Thank you for the update, and a great ending to a bad day MoePerry.
Truly appreciated indeed! [smiley=thumbs.gif]

I also want to thank Moe for posting those links.
The screenshots (dozens and dozens of them) are gorgeous and I'd love to play a demo.
Does anyone know when it is planned for release and if the demo will have an English language version?
Cheers, Terry
P.S. Never mind, I just clicked on the second link and saw the English trailer and web links.

Status : Online | This game looks very nice, I love how that castle looks, with the statues and decorations, so bright and magical.
But there's something that I know I won't like. It seems like you are free to roam around the entire castle from the beginning of the game. I don't think that's a good idea, it will probably lead to a lot of backtracking and getting lost.
And I can't find the trailer in the game's website, can anyone help?

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

Hello Terry!
It looks like the game will have a February 2006 release in the UK. The developers say that the North American release will be at about that time also, but they haven't yet named a North American publisher.

Hello Shany!
I just discovered that there is no trailer on this english page from Keepsake:
http://www.wickedstudios.com/keepsake/
There is only this text writen:
"Keepsake Promo Trailer coming soon!"
But on the German Keepsake page you can download a trailer, if you do this:
After you clicked on this link:
http://www.keepsake-game.de/
a new window opens.
In that new window you can see on the left site some buttons on that you can click.
Click on the Downloads button on the left site and then the middle menue change.
Now click in the middle of the page the Trailer buttun, that is direct over the Kontakt button.
Then you can click on the word "ownload"
Now a new window opens and you can choose to watch the trailer right now, or to save the trailer on your local harddrive.
The trailer is 48 MB greatt.
Friendly Greetings from Moe Perry

A (not very good) translation, if anyone wants it:
"For such a long time I was far from my family.
Too often, I was not there when they needed me.
My memories never fade away.
I thought this school would be a new beginning, away from the past.
But I misled myself.
How can it now look so large?
Why is the school so empty?
Nobody can bring the past back to us.
But how can I go back after taking myself so far?
Must I not try anything, if the answers I am looking for could be hidden behind these walls?
Or am I searching down the wrong path?"
An empty school, where hundreds of students should be...
A keepsake from past times...
An unforgettable adventure.
...not to be confused with Keira Knightley
