Status : Online | My wife and I played the Gabriel Knight series together. In GK 2 and 3 you get to play as both a male (Gabriel) and a female (Grace) in different chapters, and romance is a theme throughout the games. The Tex Murphy series are pretty good games for partners also, lots of plot-development with a romantic undercurrent.

Status : Online | I also recommend the Gabriel Knight series, a good story is meant to be shared. My girlfriend is always looking for "scary" games for us to play. We turn off the lights and turn the volume up. Amber Journeys Beyond was rather creepy if I remember correctly.

Status : Offline | Think of the movies your gilrfriend likes the most and try to find games that match the theme/story. There aren't many romantic adventures out there, at least not without being on the corny side.

It's Tex and his love interest Chelsea going out to dinner while he tells her about his first case and she makes these great comment on his bungling attempts. There's a real strong man woman dynamic going on through the whole game that might appeal to a couple.

Status : Online | I believe it depends on your girlfriend personality: if she can be easily scared, play "The dark eye"; she will be afraid, and then you can huge her, and all that stuff; but, basically, you'll have a great time together. If she is more like the romantic tipe, then play GK3, or GK2. The "love story" between Gabriel and Grace, specially in GK3, is really fascinating.
