Another excellent game by Mr. J.B.

Graphics are impressive.
Hope a story in the same level.

So you're playing Phantasmagoria 2.
I really liked both Phantasmagoria games. To me, the Phantasmagoria games  still look good many  years later.

Hi, Goddess. I liked P1.  I think, Sierra improve some technical aspects in P2.

Is The Lost Crown the same game as A Warning to the Curious, due out in December of '06?  I have an old site for Curious bookmarked on my machine, and the storyline/locations of the two games (if indeed these are different games) appear to be identical, but the recent Darkling Room site makes no reference to A Warning to the Curious.

Also, I didn't see a release date for Lost Crown, save an inference that it will be sometime next year; anybody know anything more specific?

Yea,  I thought so too.  I might learn something as I think my house is haunted. LOL

From the awarningtothecurious.co.uk website, dated April 2005:

Over the coming months, I will be embarking on the production of a further adventure game title: featuring exploration, puzzle solving, a dark mystery and some rather spooky fun involving ghosthunting.

Feel free to explore the nooks and crannies of this website, to learn more about the creation of “The Lost Crown: A Warning to the Curious”. Jonathan Boakes, April 2005.

Over the course of developing the new game, the 'warning' subtitle became "a ghosthunting adventure" to be more descriptive, and less misleading. I will add that Monday's press release was/is the first official announcement regarding the game. The press release also states that the game will be released in Spring 2006, for Windows.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

Your house is haunted, Jalex!? Lucky you. Grab an emf meter and start tracking down the ghosts. Maybe they would like a part in the game.

Jonathan:

I bought this house abput 15 years ago and it is the same age as the Astoria Theater that has been in the news and on the Hauntings tv show. 70 yeas ago it was where the Moon Shine (illeagal whiskey) was stored and there were some nasty shoot outs righht where I sit. I have heard countless strange noises and my wife and I have both seen objects float in the air and then drop to the floor. I have also done your check with drawing around an object and they almost always move.
Just thought you might be interested.

It's sounds like a fascinating location, Jalex. While picturing it, I couldn't help feel there's a job for Nancy Drew, or even Delaware within those walls.

Or maybe even the Scooby Doo gang. Did an evil real estate developer make you an offer on your property recently, Jalex?

Gee, my house is only 8 years old, but if you draw a circle around objects, they most definitely move. But then, we have small to medium earthquakes periodically.......

The future ain't what it used to be!

There is a Nancy Drew game where the story line follows Astoria's history pretty close but I imagine any port town could have had a history like ours.
