It's a prison cell, and the key has been left on the outside of the door. I reach through, grab the key, and open the door without damaging the room.

Status : Online | ok, i can't let you guys go on like this........in the answer section for this, it says.....If you are sufficiently ingenious you will have discovered a number of ways to solve these problems. If you have discovered better ones, then accept their congrats and set out adventuring with complete confidence in your ability to cope imaginatively with whatever emergencies you discover.......Here is what MENSA's answer was.....
Slide a sheet of newspaper under the door, and then unfold the hairpin and use it to push the key on to the newspaper. Pull the newspaper and key back under the door, take the key and unlock the door.
Ready for more??
