Status : Online | You're not missing much. It just barely qualifies as an adventure game. It's mostly an amateur movie, and you cue scenes by doing Google research and playing lame little arcade games.

Status : Online | Well, actually....I knew all that about that game. I knew a lot of people didn't like it, that it really isn't an adventure, and whatnot....but see....I'M the kind of flaky gamer that likes ALL kinds of games, and I heard that this was BIZARRE and not your ordinary run of the mill sort of game. I heard it was odd....and more "movie-like"....and all that "bad" stuff, just made me want to play it more!!
I'm really strange this way. The more out of the norm something is....the more I'm intrigued by it. And I'm not real genre-bound, so I don't really mind that it's "barely an adventure" or even if it doesn't qualify at ALL!!
I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE DAMN THING!!!
Presently playing Everquest 2 and World of Warcraft obsessively....as well as any other good games that appear on the horizon. I love all genres!

Status : Online | Fair enough. I am also drawn to the eccentric, and I bought this game too because I was intrigued by the offbeat raves it was getting. I hope you can get it working. The fact that you have had so much trouble so far just heightens my contempt for the game. Do you have the TAC version? If so, contact their customer support. I'm curious how they will deal with your complaint.

Status : Online | It's most likely just a temporary technical problem. They're releasing a "Game of the Year" edition of Missing sometime soon, so I'm sure the server will be working again.

| Deleted User | I recently received a e-mail from them saying they were changing server or something, with a link to click to register at the new one. I assume that there is now a patch for this, or that you have received a similar e-mail...? -or like krkdnose said, it is temporary. And I'd like to add that I enjoyed that game very much. Weird, dark and original.

Status : Online | Well, day three and still can't register. Guess I will just keep trying daily.
Matter of fact, think I'll Google it and see if there IS a patch.
Btw...the Game of the Year edition from TAC is the one I got. Got it at Walmart for about 10 bucks.
I will also try TAC's tech support later if I still have no luck within the rest of this week.

| Deleted User | It sounds to me like they have serious user experience issues. If they are changing server issues that the previous game relies on, it's busted. Bad decision.
I can't believe they'd do that. I hope that it is a temporary issue.
