and it would take one whole post just for that!

btw, try putting dalton jack of spies on google now and see what comes up first (or do the i'm feeling lucky option)!!!

if i didn't know who was who and made guesses, i would definately guess bastich correctly... i would probably get andromus too, as well as mrs peacock, since susan is the female sleuth here, so it would make sense that she would be a clue character! i would probably have guessed lady kestrel as the bagman! and then elfstone and jerry as prof hunt and alucard, since not only do they always finish hand in hand, but they were 3rd and 4th in the last 3 tourneys (plus, alucard kinda fits jerry's movie orientations)! then i would definately have made a guess for stooge as fluffy and probably wimli as morbo! the rest i would have left to chance

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Guessing the ND games gives me away, except I needed every point I could get!

Are you sure?  There was also a Mrs. Peacock in an episode of The X-Files called "Home".

You say that, but you didn't miss us until quite recently, now did you? You should have missed us right from day one!

And before you say it, I don't want to hear *anything* about costumes and disguises. Obviously, you would have... well... I mean... I'll stay quiet now ma'am. Honest. Leave that stick where it is.

(Notice how both Chris and myself decided against playing in this tourney, though we didn't know about it, of course. Since my psionics aren't quite that great, I suspect he is the one doing telepathy and the like)

Ain't it cool the way we influence Google like that? "Nabuhiti" is even a valid search on Google these days.

It did cross my mind you might decide not to get it right to throw us off; I finally decided you wouldn't throw away an easy point like that. I couldn't have done it myself if one of my personal favorites like Obsidian had come along either.

If you don't remember Mrs. Peacock, then you don't remember the episode!
Let's just say her boys were very devoted to their mother ... and the episode was at one time banned from TV b/c it dealt with incest.  [smiley=eww.gif]

I love getting Off Topic.

At the time I picked the name, I was thinking of peacock blue, which would be more in line w/ the character from Clue, but the other character was in the back of my mind.

Luckily, though, the ban didn't last long.  It's got some of the best quotes!

Humor on X-Files is unsurpassed by any other show (except sitcoms, obviously).

Fluffy, the Sham Dire Player obviously doesn't agree with that!
And now don't say Buffy is a sitcom. But it's true, there are many great lines in X-Files as well. Especially the first three seasons are excellent!

Btw, papabrody: how did you guess who I was? Was it a guess or did I give myself away somewhere (I think I know one instance where I revealed something, not in the adventure game trivia though).

Lucky guess!  Since I haven't been here long I didn't know anyone's likes or dislikes, or personalities. Btw yours was the only guess (other than Bastich) I got right.  Nice to meet you though.

Very nice to meet you as well!
That is one awesome score you posted here on your first tournament.
