Hi everyone.  I just got this game in a trade and am dying to play it, but can't get it to run in XP.  I've downloaded DOS Box but can't get it to work in there, and also downloaded VDM Sounds, but that doesn't help either.

Has anyone else gotten this game to run in XP and if you did, can you tell me how you did it?

Thanks SO much,
Tracy

Hi enchantedmoons,
I've just joined the forum (and must confess that I know next to nothing about computers--it's a wonder I even found this forum!!).

Like you I have Windows XP and have unsuccessfully been trying to run the game Versailles 1865 (my old computer had Windows 98, and I was able to use the program without problems).
Have you had any luck in getting it to function properly? The game is very good, but I am more interested in the virtual tour of Versailles which is also included.
I'd be very grateful to hear how you got on and, if you were able to get the program to run, exactly what you had to do (remember, you'll have to spell everything out as I am a computer nerd!! ;-).
Thanks a million,
Florio
