NiBiRu originally came out in in 1998 as "Posel Bohu" and was re-released this year with new graphics and sound.  [I only know this from the very good Just Adventure review!]

I liked The Black Mirror so much I went out and bought NiBiRu last week, but so far it isn't as good as Mirror.  Not to say I don't like it -- it's a dandy game with nice production values and some inventive puzzles, i.e., getting the bottle from the wino (I loved that one).  I guess I prefer the spooky old house theme of The Black Mirror.

Another reason I'm looking forward to "And Then There Were None"!  Love those spooky old houses!

Deleted UserI just finished NiBiRu and enjoyed it very much. The artwork is excellent.

The voice acting for the latest English release is very cunning,
with authentic Mexican-American inflections. A very subtle detail that was quite clever.

I enjoyed NiBiRu as much as any current release this year.

plus it has one of the hardest true puzzles in recent memory-the rotating rings with colored marbles. Argh! I'm still pulling my hair out. I finally had to cheat.

There you go.  I got the colored balls puzzle out easily without cheating it was LOGICAL.  As was the cooking thing in Still Life.   [smiley=yawn.gif] PLUS I got through the Still Life robot without yelling for a save game.

Please help me because for some reason I cannot get the document to respond to the tube post as they call it, I have clicked the document all over the screen and it does not seem to do anything.

Black mirror was great except I didn't like the ending but that's just me I guess.  I thought NiBiRu had a much better ending and I enjoyed it a lot.  I also don't like real hard puzzles but I would say there was only on puzzle near the end of it that I had a little trouble with and I enjoyed all the rest.

That's exactly what i was thinking when i finished the 2nd game! The first one was great, a classis and the 2nd one...oh, well it has some bright moments but not as many as The Black Mirror.
But i agree with jalex that the ending in Black Mirror was a bit under expectations. What i liked about that game was tension you felt while playing, so many good puzzles and video clips! I'll definitely play that game again.
So naturally i was looking forward to Nibiru a lot and i guess i expected it to be a bit more like The Black Mirror but in a way that would be stupid because they can't make almost identical game just to please me

Best of all: depending on which subtitle version you get the game might
be better or...well...not as good. Even they are still the same game.

NiBiRu: Age of Secrets or NiBiRu: Messenger of the Gods

Not quite.  The two reviews are written by different people who have slightly different opinions.
