I reckon S&M was highly overrated as a game but it was still damned annoying to see them can the [as then] looking great S&MFP. Also a shame this new adventure will be starting from scratch!

Cool. Sam & Max are back. Looking forward to hearing more in the near future, but it couldn't be in better hands.
Heres hoping they don't mess it up. [smiley=thumbs.gif]

I loved the original Sam & Max Hit The Road - but agree it may be rated a bit too high due to sentimentality. Nevertheless, I was rather disappointed when LucasArts cancelled Sam & Max 2 along with Full Throttle 2.
The originals were really fun AGs with loads of colorful characters, wonderful settings, humor and some nifty music. The artwork was a bit rough by today's standards but very nicely rendered and stylized. In S&MHTR, even the inventory and map screens were a hoot.
So I'm happy to hear that the old dog and rabbit duo have found a good new home at Telltale's Bone Games and look forward to seeing what they do with the title.
Cheers, Terry

Status : Online | How timely! We can show Telltale our support by purchasing "Bone" if you enjoy the demo. This is one case where we can defintley put out money where our mouth is, for all of us who were dismayed when Lucasarts cancelled Sam n' Max.
I have no doubt Sam N' Max from Telltale could potentially not come to fruition if Telltale doesn't find it financially sound due to low sales on Bone. It's just the unfortunate truth. So support them!

(and yea, I agree that Bone will be an important measuring stick... but $20 for an "episodic" game bothers me, too.)
My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dog already thinks I am.&&&&The measure of civility in a society is not how it treats those that are loved, but how it treats those that are hated.

At this point, I don't care if it's an episodic game or not. I just want to play as Sam & Max again!!!!!
Hopefully, the voice acting will be similar to the first game, and not the TV show...
