Regarding the poll (as it currently appears), I chose System Shock 2 even though it is a FPS-RPG not an adventure game. It's one of the scariest and best games ever made in any genre.
Cheers, Terry

Anyway, I didn't see Shadow of the Comet on the list, so my choice "None of these"

Also, i loved Clive Barker's 'Undying' for the PC, dated nowadays but very slick and creepy for its time.

Status : Online | I am the lone (at this point) Gabriel Knight III voter. This is one of my favourite games, although I myself wouldn't really classify it as a "horror" game, despite the presence of the Vampires; the game is mostly played out in the sunny hills of southern France and overall lacks the gripping, creepy atmosphere of say, the Darkfalls. Or Delaware Saint John I, now that was one creepy game that had me gripping the Mouse so hard at several points I was afraid I was about to crush it; indeed, the creepiest game I've ever seen insofar as mood and atmosphere are concerned.
But Delaware isn't listed and if Gabriel Knight III is classified as a horror game, then I guess it's my favourite horror game.

Espically in the second part, where you're in the town with the "kids."

I have played that more than most of the games I have mostly becuse my wife likes to play it with me. I didn't pick it though, because I think it's more of a puzzle game than a horror adventure game.
