I remember actors pasted on filmed environments - very blurry filmed environments because they were compressed so much.

I can't check it anymore since I loaned it out and never got it back. It's very possible that bits of the game, like the ship you see out the window, were not filmed. But the backgrounds I remember walking through sure looked filmed. If I ever get another copy of the game I'll take some screenshots.
