That first box reminds me of Mr. Yuck.
Remember Mr. Yuck?

A tough choice... The first one makes it look like it's not a serious game, while the second one is just bland.

I chose the first one, it's bound to get more attention than the second one (and look nicer on a game box, too).
It does look like Mr. Yuck though.

I voted for the first one, because it was "different"... the second one looks like a million other box covers...

Dunno if I like a box sticking its tongue out at me, though... but ultimately, it doesnt matter, 'cuz I'll be buying it anyway.

What's scary is WHY is it sticking it's tongue out at us?

I voted for the 2nd one because I thought the 1st one looked like too many other Aztecy, pyramidy, geegaw ladened games.  Hate to think an artist will be out the fees though, they're both pretty good.

happy trails,

Carolyn

They should learn something from Myst IV about clean colour and lines. The NiBiRu box covers are dull and dark. I'm sure a competition for JA Members to come up with a better box cover would be more successful.

I noticed that neither of them has the developer logo on the front again.

I've been lurking, on and off.

I'm busy on lots of things at the moment.  More later.

Box 2 makes it look like it's yet another generic Myst ripoff, although that may be TAC's hope.

I liked the 2nd box the best, although it did take me a while to decide. They both are nice. The first box however looked more like an action adventure box for a console game. IMO

The text on the box is remarkably reminiscent of the original Riddle of the Sphinx packaging.

"An Ancient Riddle
A Deadly Curse
An Epic Challenge"

Maybe the copywriters went on strike.

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
