Deleted UserAnother 10 from me.  What a game! Unique concept, fantastic surroundings, lovely over-the-top FMV cut scenes.

Blast it -- this is the one game I never could rate. It's so different from every other adventure I've played. I had a largely positive impression at the end, but as for a specific score -- I'll have to think about it.

I gave it a 4.  Unique game, but I'm hard pressed to call it an AG.  It's primarily a game filled with action sequences. Actually, I'd say the entire game is nothing but action sequences.  Let's not forget about dying.  Constantly. Three lives before you have to start over.  Keyboard control for moving left, right, backwards and forwards.  Just like any other arcade game - nothing like an AG.

Deleted UserBy responding to Ivinia I'm breaking a rule, I know. But I strongly disagree about Bad Mojo being an action game.  It's a game of exploration without an inventory and without dialogue (many cut scenes though), but it's puzzle solving all the way.  I remember just two very easy and short "action sequences". You can die in many adventures and keyboard controls are not specific for action games.

.

I loved Bad Mojo but just cannot bring myself to give it more than an 8. Despite the highly original concept, I was never enthralled by the gameplay or puzzles to the same degree as I was in several true AG classics that had equally wonderful, inventive settings but even better puzzles - along with good stories, memorable characters, great dialog and all the rest.

Cheers,  Terry

I'll give the game kudos for its originality, and the story grabbed me more than I thought it would. But when it comes down to it, the game is just a big maze, and a very linear one too.

Well worth trying for its unique design, but not an all-time great game for me. I'll give it a 7.
