| Deleted User | A 10+ from me. One of the truly great and incredibly funny games. For years, I'd ignored the praise from the horde of fans because I remembered prequel Maniac Mansion as a hard and not very interesting game. But when I finally played it last year, I fell in love at first sight. Time travel! Switching between three protagonists! Top-notch voice-acting! Laverne! Purple tentacle! The US presidents!

What can I say about Day of the Tentacle except that Tim Schafer & Company at LucasArts took what Ron Gilbert started five years earlier in Maniac Mansion to near perfection in every department.
The results?
As close to a perfect 10 as any PC adventure game to date and a genuine hall of fame classic.
Cheers, Terry

My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dog already thinks I am.&&&&The measure of civility in a society is not how it treats those that are loved, but how it treats those that are hated.

I play it on XP using the ScummVM engine, otherwise the sound doesn't work properly. This is a great game, one of my absolute favourites.
