Full Throttle 2 is something I'd like to see, although I'm afraid it won't be so great.

Greetings,

Hummm... Syberia 2 (Fall 2003), TLJ2 (still expecting some news
), Broken Sword 3 (of course
), Post Mortem (I'm very impressed, let's see the final work
)... Grim Fandango 2 would be nice, I liked it and would play a sequel with Manny Calavera and Glotis
But I guess the game is "dead"
(the ones who played got the joke
LOLOL). I guess that's about it... any suggestions?

anyone heard of Fairy Tale? that's the one i'm mostly looking forward to... and also Runaway and Post Mortem

i am very sceptic about Sam'n'Max 2 and Full Throttle 2... i loved both those advs (re-finished SnM2 just a couple of days ago) and i'd hate to see them turn into 3d crap (liike others did) or even worse arcade oriented games... we'll see

of course i can't wait for Syberia 2 but that a bit far, and also TLJ2 if it ever comes out

as for GK4 and LSL8 and other sierra games i'd really want them to be realeased but, like the lucasarts ones, NOT like KQ8 and GK3, but in the good old 2d 3rd person p'n'c fashion

last but not least: [glb]PARASITE EVE 3[/glb] (yeah i wish)

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

No I haven't heard of fairy tale. Do you have any website with any screenshots? It seems like you have a good taste in games and since it is the one you are waiting the most maybe it is good, I'd like to check it out.

By the way I totally agree with you about Broken Sword 3 and Sam n Max 2 and Full throttle 2. I am actually not interested at all in them cause they are simply not adventures. There are already a lot of series that has been destroyed by the 3-d, action/adventure hybrid, keyboard control trend. I'm talking about alone in the dark, monkey island, king's quest etc etc

And what companies fail to understand is that they loose both adventure fans and action fans, cause these games are neither action nor adventures. They are a hybrid waste of money and effort.

If you look in the post 'The adventure reinnescance' there are some people who pointed out some really promising new 3rd person point and click adventures like the black mirror and the moment of silence. I don't know if they are going to be as good as they sound but anyway they sound really good traditional adventures.

Magma42,
"I've got Two words, a Numeral, and a Punctuation symbol for you... Sam & Max 2"

& is not a Punctuation symbol; punctuation is the use of standard marks and signs in writing and printing to separate words into sentences, clauses, and phrases in order to clarify meaning.

Anyway...all the games you guys listed exceptially Sam n' Max 2, TLJ2, Syberia 2, Full Throttle 2, GK4...
But I think the best good Adventure coming out soon in Tony Tough and the Night of the Roasted Moths.  This is going to be tite and it's coming out on Halloween.  Buy it.

thanx for your kind comments dimi
here's Fairy Tale's Page... unfort the page hasn't changed a bit since last time i saw it (and that's b4 summer) so my guess is no real progress is being made

i couldn't agree with you more... it's weird that companies still don't realise that... the worst recent example is Simon 3d... WHAT WAS THAT? i'm glad i played a bit b4 buying it (so i didn't buy it)... this was not an adv but not an arcade either... i guess the copies sold were only based on its name... and it was a pitty cause i was a huge supporter of AdventureSoft, who have provided with excellent games in the past

If you look in the post 'The adventure reinnescance' there are some people who pointed out some really promising new 3rd person point and click adventures like the black mirror and the moment of silence
haven't checked this thread out yet but now it got my attention

Deleted UserI can't boil this down to one title.  I keep a running list of games that I am interested in - some more interesting than others - some old - some new - some in development.  For what it's worth here they are in no special order:

Post Mortem
Curse of Isis
Elementals
Shadow of Memories
Riddle of the Sphinx 2
Cameron File 2
Sherlock Holmes/Mummy
Silent Hill 3
Jack the Ripper (the one in development now)
The Black Mirror
Cleric
Any Nancy Drew Game
DarkFall 2
The Longest Journey 2
Syberia 2
London C.I.T.Y 2000

Guardian of Darkness (oldie)
Cassandra Gallery (oldie)
