Hi all,
I started this game on another site and it became a monster fun hit.  The object of the game is to guess the name of an adventure game based on given clues.  .  After a few wrong answers the person who's supplying the clues gives another one.  After about 6-7 attempts fail a giveaway clue is given. The first one who guesses it right gets to give clues for another game.  Adventure games only please!  So let's begin.

This meat I'm carrying around with me really stinks.  Hope I can get rid of it sooon.

Great idea, but I think it belongs in the Adventure Game Trivia section.

Be careful though, Bastich and Aya are ridiculously good at these...!  What most players bang their heads over, these guys just yawn and think, "Childs play. The answer is.."

So what do you think the answer is Ivinia?  By the way in the other site I mentioned this is in the adv game disscussion forum even though they also have a trivia/puzzles forum.  Just feel it will reach more members here.  So how are you liking Midnight Nowhere, Syberia 2 and MOS?  Three reall good ones in my opinion.
Happy Gaming

Deleted UserGameman, there are all sorts of fun quizzes and tourneys going on in the Trivia sector. Come and join the crowd!

Not that there's anything wrong with your Name the Game thread, but why not try something new too?

Return to Zork?

Midnight Nowhere seemed really good, but when I went back to play some more it wouldn't run, so I have to re-install it. I never experienced that problem with a game before.

Syberia II is fun.  Love the scenery.  I get a little frustrated when I get stuck and think I've explored everything, but then find if I walk her to all parts of a given area, it scrolls.  Grrrr....

Loaded up MOS but haven't started yet.  :-/

Correct, your turn.  Try Midnight Nowhere again, it's worth it.  Looked for you but didn't find any patches.  Try unchecking tripple buffer and TNL in the opening configurations.

Actually, Aya hasn't been doing all too well recently: *I* even managed to beat him in one of the latest trivias, and I'm not the most dangerous out there. I would suggest Dame Kestrel if you want a worthy second in command: she is second to Bastich himself recently, so that's almost as if she was second to none.  :

Greek Grious would be a worth opponent too. I don't think he's still around...

There ain't nothin' like a dame, except when it comes to music trivias where Shany shines brightest!

Speaking of which... Oh, Shany!  Give us a clue!

You're a little late Jalex.  Ivinia got that one and gave a clue for another game which was also answered correctly.  We're waiting for that person to give a clue for the next game.

Do you prefer Ma'am? Or Lass? Empress? She who Must Be Obeyed? Queen of Hearts? Or simply Kestrel Lady? Or Avon Lady? *Ducks for cover*

The problem with your current name is... Well, it always gets censored by that silly filter.

don't listen to them... i am not half as good as bastich or qrious (Grious?!
)... btw, qrious has been called to serve his mama-country! he'll be back for good in may 2006 (but i think i saw his name a couple of times, probably on a leave day or smth)

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Sorry qrious!  :-*
That's what happens when you don't stick around... you'd better make an appearance soon or I'll be calling you Greekous or worse. [smiley=devil_smiley_grintail.gif]

[smiley=laughing.gif] Well, let's see.  I passed Lass a while ago, Ma'am is too ordinary, and I've never had to sell cheap perfume door-to-door, so those are out.  I can't compete with the original She nor with Mrs. Rumpole in the command department, and my Red Hat group, the Caring Heart Hatters, has a Queen, so those are out.  Empress has a nice ring to it but is a bit over the top, don't you think?  How about Lady K. or just LK?  Keep it simple but elegant, like me.  Errr...maybe I should rephrase that.

You and Val are a formidable team when the summer sun isn't distracting you from your computer.

Okay, I'm now turning Bill's hijacked thread over to Shany again.

Sorry I took so long, I forgot to check this thread again after answering...

The clue (very easy):

In the middle of a murder investigation, your character finds time to bake...

Seconded, but you beat me to it.  :

I will have to check for LK, but I think it may be too close to some characters in adventure games (one or two Larries in particular). Lady K. is out of question, since it reminds me too much of one "fitness" product. I think I will settle for... well, I don't know. Fatale Kestrel?  :

Call me whatever you want, Alneyan, but just not late for chocolate!

Here's a clue:
The dashboard of your transport vehicle looks like something you studied in school.

You can put the teletypewriter codes (tt)(/tt) in between, and Lady[tt][/tt]Kestrel will not be censored.

I will take a guess at "Sam and Max Hit the Road".
