Deleted UserSo far everyone's started polls about their favourite games, but I think these polls should also serve as a warning to urge people away from the worst adventure games available, among whose number I am proud to count The Mystery of the Nautilus. Blurry graphics, dark rooms, illogical puzzles, multitudinous timed sequences (sometimes you would have two countdown timers for different actions at the same time!) and no real redeeming features give this game a 2 in my book. (There weren't any bugs.

A "2" sounds about right. Usually I try to put a positive spin on adventures I've played, but Mystery of the Nautilus left me pretty much with nothing good to say for the reasons Fick mentioned (What was the nonsense with the periodic table about?) And some annoying pixel hunting with those blurry graphics. AND the ending left me saying, "Huh, that's it?"

I kind of liked the art design behind the sub. That's about it.

Even worse I have a friend who doesn't play adventures, but saw this one and thought it looked interesting. Not a good way to get him into adventures.

I wished I had played this before he did -- knowing what I know now, I would have tackled him to keep him from installing this one.

Here's another game that I disliked so much that I never finished it. It gets a 1 from me. I found the graphics dark, and the story just didn't grab me enough to care to see how it ended.

I was generous, and gave it a Four.  The graphics were unexcusable crap, they would have been passable in the pre-Myst era, but now?  This is a total joke which makes me think the game was just slapped together to rush to market as quickly as possible.  And everything else about the game was just mediocre.

Never finished it.  I got to a times sequence underwater and that's where I stopped.  And I didn't have a good time even up to that point.  I don't think I liked that game that much.  It had it's moments but not too many.
Myst IV - Never finished it.  Got frustrated with it.&&Myst V - Did not finish it either.  Very disappointing.&&ATTWN - BORING!!! Never finished it.  Kept falling asleep.&&Paradise - So far .... not so good&&Voyage - Not on my favorite list

Didn't play. I guess from now on I just don't say anything if I haven't played a game.  :
