Status : Offline | I keep all my boxes, but not all my games, I only keep the ones that I truly love or think I will play again, the others I usually trade or sell, I just dont have the space to keep the ones that I know I'll never play again. Im so glad they are starting to put them out in the smaller boxes.

I too have my games/boxes on book shelves - all my friends think I'm wierd. I keep them ALL.  although got rid of some of the earlier ones BEFORE I knew I should keep them)
I don't like the newer, small boxes though - for the same reason I didn't like the size of CD boxes over full-sized Albums - I like the BIG pictures to look at - they're so much more colorful and fun to look at then the tiny little boxes you need your glasses for. Although I understand the need for conservation.

Status : Online | Hi all...just joined the forum and wanted to put in my two cents...
Typically I fold up the boxes so I can store more easily. However I have a few that are in specialty boxes that I would not want to destroy. They are:
G.K. 1 : Funky X shaped box Sid & Al's Incredible Toons: Box was a puzzle in itself! Day of The Tentacle: Box was tall Triangle
I also have a bunch of Sierra game packages that I got signed in person by the creators (Roberta Williams, guys from Space Quest, etc.)
I probably have more but can't think of them...what weird boxes do you have?

Status : Online | Hi, I agree that if you are selling the game to a collector, who wants the original game and box, in mint condition, you should keep everything. However, if you want to keep your game boxes for yourself, or you sell your garmes to someone who wants the game, and isn't that picky about the box, then throwing away the inside cardboard works.
Ideally, we'd all keep everything, but, due to that darn "conservation of matter" law, some of us are just running out of room!
Regards, mszv
