Oh, that was great. Seeing a possum through new eyes...... Particularly because it never occurred to me that a possum could seem any more exotic than.....possums usually seem. Which is to say, not a whole lot around here!

the last message i got from anne was very philisophical, and what she said will forever lead me through life. I never thought of it the way she put it, but now "that's all it is".

Dyslexics wonder why there isn't a word that means the same thing as "cinnamon."

Other people's deaths always make us realise our own mortality but usually it prompts us to embrace life a little more vigorously.

As for life, I felt as if I was importal at a time. Anne's death has nothing to do with my feeling.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

When I logged on here tonight and saw this thread, my eyes filled with tears and I had to pause for a bit before I could post.
I just wanted to share that one of the things I enjoyed about Anne was that she would always tell you like it was, no sugar-coating anything. I have always admired her for that, maybe that's something I can learn from her and apply to my own life...Many thanks Anne, for your friendship in the Syberia forum, and for your kindness and support to me when I was going through hard times, I greatly appreciated your words to me. :'(

Status : Offline | I've missed Anne a great deal while I was away and was deeply shocked when LadyK told me about her passing. (thanks LadyK for posting in the other thread for me.)
Now that I'm back on line I would just like to say how much I will miss her around here.
Her cryptic responses and her straight talking always brought a smile to my face and laughter to my heart.
The place will not be the same without her :'( :'(
