Thanks!

mbc842: I have 4 computers & 2 keyboard+videoscreen+mouse (ie. KVM) setups and am constantly switching from one computer to the other but using the same keyboard/monitor/mouse. For instance, one computer is used only for web-surfing & misc stuff like audio editing while the one next to it is used for video editing that can involve 'setting it & forgetting it' while it encodes video etc. So, long story short, the solution is to get a KVM switch that connects a common keyboard + monitor + mouse and the 2 computers. There are 2 or 3 competing companies for KVM switches; I have been happy with the Belkin brand. You can choose between one that handles anywere from 1 pair of computers to 2 or 3 pairs.

The future ain't what it used to be!

I forgot my sig.
