SJH I know is fine, very busy and can be found at AG. Petter I have no idea about and I'm not happy....
How dare people let me like them and get used to having their company and then suddenly vanish. No cookies for either of them. >

But Petter has really vanished without a trace, unsubscribed and all. Hope he'll be back soon, he was a great guy to have around!

[smiley=doh.gif] I do have a brain, I promise. It just doesn't get used too often.

So, Southport and Liverpool are in the same county, if memory serves. Therefore, Caroline and Chris come from the same area of England... and both have admitted they were slow thinkers. In other words, you should blame it on your origins Chris, and not on yourself. :
I am kidding, of course. A proper Frenchman does not mock a particular area of England; rather, we should mock the whole lot of them. It's not quite true however: Liverpool is awfully close to Lancashire, and we do not quite like Lancaster for one reason or another... perhaps because they almost fully conquered France.
But you ought to defend yourself Chris. For example, you could argue that "according to all judicial rulings, the burden of proof rests on the prosecution, and not on the defender. Ergo, before ridiculing you, one would need to demonstrate that your mistake was linked to any intellectual deficiency, and not to the present circumstances.
However, such a case would be difficult to make, for it appears that Chris had no way of understanding the finer mechanisms of posting. Indeed, Petter and SJH both posted as guests, and so the obvious deduction one can make from this evidence is that guests were allowed to post. Truly, the mundane poster should not be expected to be aware that guests are forbidden from posting, and that Petter only appeared as a guest before he deleted his account. Such a thought pattern is intricate, and certainly unneeded for the regular exercise of posting rights.
Furthermore, there is more to it than this mere statement. How would the prosecution determine that Petter is unable of creating another account just to post a message with hints? Surely, nothing in his previous behaviour prevents such a thing from happening, and it would clearly be in accordance with the common law applied on those forums.
Until the prosecution can successfully address such points, Chris should not be derided on grounds of his lack of perception... not too much, at any rate. Failure to abide by the rulings of this Court shall result in totemisation."

Got to wonder why you put "sometimes" here. We must live up to our reputation, you know. :
Chris: totemisation is something common in the Zorkian universe. Let's just say it is a form of punishment, shall we?

| Deleted User | @ Petter & SJH: does it help if I say that I've been gone for a while and returned?
Just to be naughty, cranky and keep on kicking against the machine ones in a while.
Does it help if I say I miss you guys, although I'm not much of a poster?
Do I have to post more shocking pics? Does that help?
Do you want to talk about it?

You could start a thread about how great Myst was and how it redefined the adventure genre. I'm sure you'll find someone who will violently disagree Syberia is a good option too.
