A pirate I was meant to be!

Status : Online | Just finished Myst 4 about 10 minutes ago now and I must say, even though I'm apposed to licensing music for games, I loved the dream segment with Peter Gabriel in the background. Now that I think about it, all the music in Myst 4 was amazing. I am chomping at the bit for them to release the promised soundtrack CD. Honorable mention to God (The Fat Man (George Sanger)) for the vocal tracks in 7th guest and 11th hour, except for the "Mr. Death" track; I didn't dig that one. The rest of the music in the game is fantastic too. I highly recommend the "7/11" CD that contains the music from both games onto one soundtrack. Also, Silent Hill 3 contained some great songs and the Soundtrack CD is a must have. The whole CD is just killer. It has barely left my car's CD player since I got it. On a negative note, I must have subconsciously suppressed the memory of that horrible rock song at the end of BS3 because I had forgotten about it until mention in this thread. It just brought down what was already a disappointing ending to a descent game.

Sierra hired a 135 person Gregorian choir just for that!

It occurred to me until I reached that dream sequence that I had no clue what type of music Peter Gabriel did or even who he was. Now I know.

Did you know he voiced one of the characters as well as sang the theme song.
I believe he was the annoying dream sequence voice.
