That which makes one happy is not a waste of time

Cheers!

Lem'me see...Scrabble would be ok, but all those monkeys...I'm not sure. I used to play Yahtzee and Canasta a lot.
What is it with those monkeys? Do they have every game of this planet available at hand for me? These guys are suspicious...

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

There was even treasure, at least the thought of Germans hoarding gold and precious artwork while being pushed back north through Rome, Florence and other cities.
But that's for a hardcore super strict view of no electricty. You know deep down the no electricity thing really meant no power on the island. Like no power generation. So batteries don't count in the ban. So split the gold treasure 50/50 with the monkeys if they go out in a sailboat or something and buy a slew of batteries for my/your laptop, and they can use their share to get better tasting bananas and nuts or something. Whatever floats their boat. And then I'd choose RIVEN.

If I have a functioning computer on my little island, then I'd most likely choose The Sims, particularly if I could use all of the various add-ons and utilities, not to mention Photoshop for dyeing my Sims' hair and other such nonsense to amuse myself with.
Of course, I may well end up having to live my social life vicariously through my Sims, eventually learning their odd gestures and strange little language, focusing my psyche entirely on this warped artificial world, ultimately succumbing to stark, raving insanity.
So best give that one a miss. I hear you can get lost in those Elder Scrolls RPGs for a good long time, however. Might want to give one of them a shot.
Of course, one we move outside the realm of the computer screen, I'll have motorboat racing, or something to get me off of that island in a hurry and back to the warm electron glow of the - erm, back to my loving friends and family, that is.
And, finally, if we're stuck for good among the coconuts and monkeys, but near enough to each other to splash on over for visits with fellow stranded adventurers, I'll go with "1000 Blank White Cards."
(the "rules" are at http://www.geocities.com/nconner23/bwcards.html - spent a few hours playing it earlier tonight, much fun for all involved. And several onlookers, as well. )
This week, I have been mostly playing
