After playing the stupid Full Moon Over San Francisco I was feeling gloomy about the state of adventure games.  I have played hundreds of them startiing with the text Zork.  So it is with great relief that I got my hands on  The Mystery of the Mummy. This has the look and feel of a classic adventure game.  The puzzles get harder as the game goes on. One in particular late in the game is new to the genre.  The voice acting is good and the graphics are beautiful.
Get this game, immerse yourself  in it and enjoy. Sela

I think I have to go against this.  Am I one of the only people who thought the game sucked?  I have seen fanmade games better quality than this.  I did not enjoy it whatsoever.
Let me replay Syberia, or better yet, Monkey Island 1 again.

I ordered Mystery of the Mummy direct from frogwares.com  back in Oct 2002 and found it to be everything you say it is, Sela. They shipped my copy from France here in the states and I thought it was excellent.

Yes, the graphics were a tad grainy, but it really is a very fun and a very hard game to finish.

How long did it take you to find the caviar fork in the carpet? I never did. I had to use a walkthrough to find it. And once I found it, I couldn’t figure out where to put it, although I had a suggested repository at the time as I struggled with it.

I am looking forward to the sequel that is coming out in October.

Why are all the games coming out in October, by the way?

Daryl, for christmas presents of course.October gives us time to send away for stuff.I have only just started Mystery of the Mummy.I am devoting 1/2 hour daily to trying to solve that wretched electricuted floor problem in Tex Murpghy. That is where I got stuck last time and put the game away.

That's unnecessarily harsh, I think. The game wasn't fantastic but I enjoyed it, especially the nonogram which was new for me.
I get the impression people hate these kind of games because there is no-one to talk to. Tough luck, folks. Some of us enjoy other aspects of the game than plumbing the depths of a character's dialogue menus.
