I did not cut my hair this weekend - think my mother did, though. Hmm. Spooky.

Thanks goodness you don't cut his mother, or any mother for this matter.
I didn't cut my hair this weekend either. Come to think about it, it has been a while since I last had my hair cut... but it doesn't seem to want to grow on its own. If even hair is becoming lazy, what shall become of our world?

Now how about a more important issue: MEN with short/long hair. :

Long hair on guys is still a great look, imo.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

Status : Offline | Hmm...maybe I should get my hair cut soon...it's been 4 years or so since I went to a hairdresser. My mom just chops off a few cm now and then...I just wanted to see how long it would actually get but it really is quite a lot of trouble to manage at this length...and it does indeed clog the drain. However, I'm too lazy to have short hair, don't you have to style it and get a haircut regularly?
Guys with long hair are great provided they wash it frequently...and comb it...and are dandruff-free.

Status : Online | I vote for men with long hair. There's just something about that look. And of course my husband's hair is long - teehee. Ugh, mine is short. I did have very long hair ( I could sit on it). And then a hair stylist got ahold of it and and that was that, except I got even. I'm sure a few of you always wanted to do this ..... after she went and messed my hair up, I cut a piece of hers off also. And I repeated to her what she said to me after I told her I hated what she did to my hair. ''Oh, it'll grow out''. I loved that moment. I can still picture her going like this ... [smiley=hair_pull.gif] as I was walking out. What a great day. I've been cutting my own hair ever since.

I've been trying to grow my hair out, and it grows very slowly. I went to the hairdresser's to get it tidied up a bit and she decided to take off 4 month's worth of growth, so now I'm back to square one... >

Status : Online | Actually, that's why I went. I bleached my hair and made a huge mess of it, so I went to get it taken dark again. She decided to make life easier for herself by cutting off as much of it as she could get away with. She didn't ask me first, and I specifically said that I was growing it. And she had the cheek of charging £60.

I can't explain how horrible it was (very yellow), so I wanted it done right away. I went to the hairdressers on the corner and the only person they had free was one of the really fancy ones. I didn't ask how much it would cost beforehand.
When I asked her why she took so much off, she said it would "dye better", and tried to convince me my hair was too thick to grow longer. :

:-*
Though my hair does have grown a bit too long the last few months, I have to tie it up most of the time now while I prefer to wear it loose. I might have my hair cut next week, but it'll still fall into the long hair category, don't you worry ladies.

Glad the lot of you like long hair on males though
Annyoing hairdressers, still - haven't they got anything better to do that to try to force everybody into a hairdress that the fasion-bussiness likes but nobody else really cares for!..

Just whack part of their hair off - they'll get the hint. I pretty much gave up on following the latest trends. If you take a look at the way fashion designers look I think that should be a big clue to most that you really don't want to wind up looking like them.

Status : Offline | I've always admired short hair on men - kinda butch. I can't get my head around a man having longer hair than me.
I always had super-long hair down (could sit on it) right up until I had kids when it dawned on me life was too busy.
Short is the way to go, don't even need a hairdryer. However, I still have a box full of hair slides I can't part with and I am beginning to think that a longer style might just look younger on me. But the temperatures out here are too much for long hair and I could never get a sun hat to fit when I wore it up on my head.
Nope. I think so long as I live here it will have to be short.
I cut both my sons' hair and they prefer it super short and bristley like a US Marine.

My hair, however, is probably longer than Susan's was before the cut.
