I don't really know (and don't WANT to know) what scabies is/are, so I can't help you there. Just the name gets me jittery.
Anyway, although you said this woke you up, now that you're awake, part of it could be a mental thing. In other words, stop thinking about your itchy skin!.
Now that that's done, put some lotion anywhere this is bothering you & go do something to take your mind off it. If it persists or gets worse, then go see a doctor.
Also, and I mean this in the nicest possible way: Have you washed your sheets lately? The problem could be fleas or bed bugs. [smiley=eww.gif]

I know this is completely the wrong place to discuss this, but I needed reassurance and it's only 7am here so I can't do anything yet.
Like I said I can't see a doctor, but I'll try later to find a pharmacy that's open.
I'm sure that I've just got an overactive imagination about it being something horrible.
And don't worry, student flats might not be the most hygeinic places in the world, but I have changed my bedding this week!  Honest... ) I even vaccuumed yesterday!

Status : Offline | So glad the itch has gone. But it may be your soap powder, especially if you use the stuff you buy in the laundrette, or cheap soap or overheating. Or maybe it's a rare and undiagnosed alien disease brought here from a meteorite.... no? have it your own way then. it's probably scabies.
Anne, you refused the op? Why? Have you tried acupuncture yet. I'll bet you haven't. I told you. I had pain for over a year but the acupuncture got rid of it after only a couple of sessions. Do not suffer needlessly. This is your mother talking..... > >

Thanks for your concern.

Well, that's what I keep telling everyone, but then they always seem to have an urgent appointment to run off to...

You'd just stolen the secret receipe for Spaghetti cake and were delivering it to M when the helicopter you were in made a forced landing above the tree line and you were forced to jump 50 feet, land on your skis and get safely away....
So you're telling me now that MI5 don't have comprehensive health cover for it's overseas operatives? You need a union.

That would be a yes, then.
I saw two of them in the Easter holidays, one where they go to the Year 5 Billion, which I really liked (especially the Last Remaining Human) and one where they travel back in time and meet Charles Dickens, which I didn't like as much, but I laughed when Dickens made the comment "What the Shakespear?"
I never saw any of the original serieses (what's the plural of series?), but I've been told that the style is very similar and they kept the same level of silliness.
But I want to see the Darleks! Hopefully someone at home has filmed it for me...

Series does not have any specific plural form: it didn't have any in Latin (I think), and none has been created in English either. Though if you insist, I guess we could come up with an irregular plural for that word: seria, or something like that perhaps. It would, of course, be pointless, but that's the charm of it.
