I got 12 of those immediately and 5 more by trying different names or taking other guesses. Still a poor performance...
Up to 24 now with the help of the clues in the comments to this quiz.
I'd really like to know what the remaining 6 are: #5 #9 #12 #15 #26 #27
???

Got 18 correct first time around, 21 with second guesses. I'll need hints on the rest though.

Woops, missed your edit before.
Let's see what we can do to help:
#5: no idea, still missing that one too... Looks like Nicolas Cage, but I've sort of run through the movies I know of him, nothing familiar though...
#9: errr, BIG science fiction sequel!
#12: Don't know either...
#15: Think of a director who always gives new meaning to the word 'bizar'
#26: He came from the wild
#27: gross out comedy
I'm still missing the following, tips would be appreciated too.
#4 I know it's Harrison Ford, but no ideas on the movie! #5 #7 #10 #12 #20 #22
Anyone?

#9: errr, BIG science fiction sequel! It's none of the Star Wars movies and none of the Animation I can think of...BIG sequel you say? Probably I spelled it wrong.
#12: Don't know either... But I do. A lucky guess. Think about movies with robots. Featuring an actor that you can find more than once in the other movies.
#15: Think of a director who always gives new meaning to the word 'bizar' So it was that one.
#26: He came from the wild The only one still missing...
#27: gross out comedy Sure. Got it now.
I'm still missing the following, tips would be appreciated too.
#4 popular movie about graduation #5 see above #7 have a look at the comments to this quiz, there is a clue #10 the very first movie with CGI (?), a cult classic #12 see above #20 it didn't live up to its name...not at all... (I found it out with IMDb, taking the pic as a clue) #22 Brad Pitt vs. Tom Cruise...and the girl in the pic is a young Spiderman's bride

Got it too now! Can't believe I missed it, the bottle is a sure give away! :
It's none of the Star Wars movies and none of the Animation I can think of...BIG sequel you say? Probably I spelled it wrong.
I'm SURE you spelled it wrong then! Or you might have been using the name of the series, try using the specific title of the ehm... episode you're thinking of.
But I do. A lucky guess. Think about movies with robots. Featuring an actor that you can find more than once in the other movies.
Still don't know #12. Probably haven't seen it yet, or haven't even heard of it. Oh well, so be it.
The only one still missing...
If you're still missing #26, think of an Australian wild man and a reptilian title.
#10 the very first movie with CGI (?), a cult classic
yep, got it.
#20 it didn't live up to its name...not at all... (I found it out with IMDb, taking the pic as a clue)
Still no idea. I'm guessing it's a romantic comedy? not my genre really, never will be.
#22 Brad Pitt vs. Tom Cruise...and the girl in the pic is a young Spiderman's bride
Can't believe I missed this one, it's one of my favourite films! I blame it on the dark screenshot then. Having seen all Alien films again lately, I mistook Brad Pitt for Sigourney Weaver's Ripley.

Aha, the Sly clue was the one I needed. Never saw it, it's supposed to be rather crappy. Certainly looks that way.
#20 - named after a famous golden boy
Still don't know it, but that's ok. Maybe when I'll see this film in the future and recognize the pic, I'll come back to this quiz to finally finish it. or not

The biggest hint I can give is the actors, Sylvester Stallone and Tim Curry in the same movie...

Aha, got it now, with the aid of imdb.com. Seems like I had to take Elfstone's 'golden boy' hint literally! Never heard of this movie Oscar before btw. And it looks like I kept missing all the Sylvester Stalone movies.

I got to watch about half of Oscar one day, pretty fun movie, from the time when comedies didn't have to be gross to be funny...

Yeah, now that you mention it, there's a lot of Stallone in that quiz! I guess everybody has their fans.

They still make them, mind you, you just have to look harder for them. e.g. have you watched Sideways? Very fun movie, feel good film done right!

If you want a websitwe with lots of movie quizes you should go to www.filmwise.com. It's fun, it doesn't update much, though.

You might want to check out the discussion on Sideways in off-topic! Seems like not everyone is crazy about it.
