I have just started playing Simon the Sorcerer: another good oldie with  beautiful hand drawn screens one after another.

Also great humor in this game just keeps popping up.

I got my copy from EBAY.

I want more beautiful, funny games.

I love the Simon games!
They are in the same vein as Lucas Arts classics. Simon 2 is even better than Simon in my opinion, because Simon focuses a bit too much on fairy tales. Simon 2 is more down to life and still very funny.

I just bought 1 & 2

I started 1 just to see if it worked(it did). Then i decided to look around to get the feel of where everything was.
after walking around 30 minutes I just went "OMG, how many screens is this game!, does it ever end?"
I guess I`m not used to getting access to so much at the beginning of a game. it`s intimidating!
how am I ever going to remember who needs what and where do I go to find them

This is what I'm missing from today's 3rd person adventures...you could roam free back then. These days (I use that term loosely, including Broken Sword 2 as the most recent example from my playlist) you are more and more limited to just a few screens and limited hotspots. If you ask me, THAT'S what kills the adventures, at least those in 3rd person which I favor (just look at my top50 list one page down...).

Wow! I just finished  Simon the Sorcerer! What fun!

If you haven't played this yet, you're in for a treat.

Run  it with SCUMMVM on XP.

Yes, it's a great game. One of my all time favourites.
