Ok. The way this works: I post a screenshot of an adventure game, but with most of the picture obscured. You can guess once what the game is. After 10 (or so... depends on how quick people reply) people respond, I'll post another picture with less obscured, and everybody gets a new guess. Repeat until someone guesses correctly. Don't expect to get the answer on the first few, I think it'll be guessed on number 4 or 5. This wasn't my idea, by the way. It came from the underdogs forum. Anyhow, the first screenshot:

Well, you haven't guessed yet! And you can guess once per screenshot. And yes, it's tough. It is, after all, just the first screenshot. I'll scale back to 6 guesses required per screenshot - slow posting today. so get 6 people to guess and you can see the next shot

I once started it, but couldn't get far because of a bug which I know how to fix now.
My guess is Beneath A Steel Sky.
I think there's desert sand in the center and sky above. To the left and right there may be doors.
Waiting for the third shot.

I like this kind of game.

I'll guess Outcast.  This is a pretty cool variant of guess the picture!

Yes, that was a big hint!
Now I know that I never played the game depicted here.

Uhm...my guess is...let's say Dune.
Never seen that.

Say, this is a neat idea.... hmm....I don't know....it can't be right, but I'll say Fallout, if only because of the desert.

Does it have to be an adventure game?
Then it can't be Fallout. If this game will be played for a while it would be ok I think to allow RPGs.

For now it's straight adventure
I don't know very many RPGs, so if you want an rpg ss quiz you'll have to make it yourself

Could it be TLJ?

I haven't gotten far in that game, so that shot looks like one that could possibly occur in the game.

I'm not familiar with this game, but I'm quite sure it's not TLJ, because in the upper left you can see part of an interface which is not like TLJ's. That much I know about the game...I think.

I'm not sure whether the object in the background is a castle or a rocket, but I would say it's a rocket, because the object on the right border looks like part of a plane.

Ok, here's my next guess: RAMA

Yep! RAMA it is... I'm not going to put up the full ss because it's sorta big. So I'll just tell you that it's at the point at which you're looking at the deactivated force field in fron of one of the cities. A big congratulations to elfstone for guessing and a petite sized congratulations to stooge
for confirming elfstone's answer

That's not fair...his was a guess...mine was pure and unadulterated ingenious knowledge!  I even proved it by stating that the top bit was the Inventory; this is blasphemy...I'm going to go read a book...

Good, I never played RAMA. If I had, I'd feel silly for not having recognized the screenshot

I never played RAMA myself either!

Hahaha.
But the picture had enough details to investigate.
I hope it's not my turn to come with a picture now!

@stooge
If you really played the game: is it good?
Just decent or better Sierra game?
