Status : Online | OK, what's with Lights Out? I keep getting lost, or I can't go back to where I've just been, or I can't find where I was a few hours ago, etc.  o I have a bad game or is this how it plays? This is really the oddest game I've played. I never know where I am or how to get somewhere else. And the ''Save'' thing. What's up with that? I don't think this game wants to be played. Is this the way this game is, really? I'm not going to look at a walkthrough until I'm just about to give up but .... has anyone played it and am I doing something wrong? ??? :-/ >
Myst IV - Never finished it. Got frustrated with it.&&Myst V - Did not finish it either. Very disappointing.&&ATTWN - BORING!!! Never finished it. Kept falling asleep.&&Paradise - So far .... not so good&&Voyage - Not on my favorite list

Lights Out (Dark Fall II) is worth it. Keep going. It's an independent game, so it may have a few quirks that way (different from conventional commerical TAC games), but it's not buggy or weird (like Alida).
The story is great. Check the UHS hints for a few kick starts, and you'll get it.
Patience. Use the force!

Status : Online | well.....the first part of the game is a little confusing. you need to always turn around and look to all sides and behind you, it gets better, easier to understand really oh one thing I noticed that can be a problem is that sometimes after you have interacted with one thing on a screen the curser wont respond right to other hotspots, just click off the screen on your inventory a lot and it will work again. hmm as for the save games they are just saved as text files arent they? or was that only darkfall..now I cant remember

I have some issues here. The dialog tree sucks. Yes, I know, piss some characters (in the game) off and it doesn't matter--you'll get satisfaction later. But it's still a PITA.
I'm saving before each and doing each dialog tree methodically to find the proper dialog "path"... what drudgery.
Often, when I'm stuck, hints are no help. Walkthoughs reveal that "you'll get that tool or clue in this place or that place, depending on how you ask questions in the dialog".
Bah. Many are boring tedious anti-immersive, mundane and pointless exercises that are beyond the realm of logic or intrigue (e.g. fun).

Get through it and familiarize yourself with Gus.
